Chapter 70

"Arka, I can explain everything. I just went out for a while to buy some ingredients. Kenzo was sleeping so I left him for a while. I couldn't bear to wake him up. As for my meeting with Zack, we really only met by accident. Zack just came back from his brother's house who happens to live in this area too."

Once home, Naya immediately explained everything. About how she met Zack and why she left Kenzo sleeping alone at home. Naya was afraid that Arka would misunderstand her again.

"I trust you."

Arka's words managed to take Naya by surprise. Didn't she hear it wrong? Her husband believed her with just one explanation? Strange, it's not usually like this. But even so, Naya was happy that her husband didn't get more angry with her because Naya had intended to apologize and reconcile with her husband.

"I believe you if you accidentally met him. It's just that there are things that confuse me."

"What?"

"How did you guys meet so often by accident? You said that whenever you're in trouble, he always comes, right? That's very strange. If it's just once or twice it might be a coincidence but if it's every day is it not strange?"

Naya was speechless at her husband's words. Honestly, she had thought this too. The problem was that she always met Zack wherever she was, even outside the campus. 

"Is he on purpose?"

"What do you mean?" Naya asked confused.

"He deliberately created a scenario to look like a hero in front of you. It's possible that all the problems you're having are his doing, he's deliberately creating problems and then suddenly coming as a hero just to get your attention. Naya, just so you know, he even openly told me that he likes you."

Arka's words again managed to make Naya speechless. Is it true that everything Arka said was about Zack?

Honestly, Naya was confused whether to believe her husband's words or not. On the other hand she didn't believe it, maybe it was true that she accidentally met Zack. But if she said she didn't believe it, she was afraid her husband would get even angrier at her.

"Never mind, there's no need to discuss it anymore. Anyway you have to stay away from him, please listen to me this time Nay."

Naya just nodded. The woman was also confused about what to answer. It was better to keep quiet than her husband getting angry.

The next morning Arka took Kenzo to his mom's house first before dropping Naya off at college and then heading to the office. 

"I'm leaving right away, isn't it? I have a meeting this morning because daddy is busy."

Naya nodded.

"Okay, I'll go down first. You'll pick me up later, right?"

"I'll call you later. Keep up the good work, and remember not to get close to Zack."

Naya nodded again before getting out of the car. She waved her hand at her husband's car as it began to drive away. When the car was farther away and out of sight, she entered the campus area.

Today had been quite an exciting day for Naya. This morning when she woke up, she was greeted with the smell of delicious cooking. It turned out that her husband had woken up first and then made her breakfast. Plus his attitude was also very gentle making Naya happy.

"Hello Naya."

The smile that had been on Naya's lips immediately faded when she saw Zack's arrival. Just now she felt happy to suddenly be confronted with Zack. It wasn't that she didn't like him, it was just that she didn't want to get into trouble with Arka if he found out she was chatting with Zack.

"You just came?"

Naya just nodded while speeding up her walk a little.

"Naya, do you have time in the afternoon?"

"I have classes until the afternoon."

"Ahh that's what it looks like."

"Zack, aren't you suspended? Why are you on campus?"

Zack smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Just wanted to see you. I'm bored at home."

"Sorry Zack, I have to hurry. I'll go first." Right after saying this Naya immediately accelerated her steps faster leaving Zack behind.

Naya's attitude was enough to make Zack confused. He realized that Naya must be avoiding him.

"Did you find out where he lives?"

"I did, I'll send you the address."

Arka nodded with a smile.

Arka was currently meeting with one of her friends. To be honest, that guy didn't have a meeting this morning, he lied to Naya on purpose because he had to meet with someone. Someone he asked to find the address where Zack lived.

Arka was very curious about Zack. He wanted to know what Zack was up to because he was sure there was something Zack was up to.

"I heard that he moved to the campus where you teach not because he wanted to continue his master's degree. She transferred because she was dropped out of her previous college."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, just try to find out. You're a lecturer, you can find out about her background. Where is the campus where he previously studied. I'm sure you'll find out everything."

"Oh yeah Arka, I hope you'll be careful with her. She's not an ordinary person."

"What do you mean?"

"You'll find out later."

"Don't make me curious. Tell me what do you know about Zack?"

It seemed like Arka was really very curious about what his friend knew about Zack. How not, his friend said that he had to be careful with Sack. His friend also said that Zack was not a random person. Then who is Zack really?

"What is clear is that the man is very problematic. Don't let your household be disturbed by him. I also heard that he was arrested by the police for a drug case."

You can see Arka's shocked reaction when she heard her friend's words. Zack had been in jail? For drugs? Is that true? He thought.

"I can't explain everything now because I still have work to do. Next time I'll tell you everything. Anyway, all you have to do now is to be careful with him. Don't let Naya get close to him."
