Chapter Twenty Seven

Immediately Kelsey saw Dennis walk into her room, She stood up and began taking steps toward him. A fake smile was plastered on her face. She hugged him tightly.

"Sweetheart, you are back," Kelsey said and gave him a peck on the right cheek. "Welcome home," she added.

Dennis stood motionless and Kelsey blinked at him to go with the flow, signalling to him that Janet was watching. He cleared his throat and wrapped his arms around her.

"I miss you, my love," he said, faking a smile.

"Awwn" Janet screamed in excitement. She created applause. "You guys are so adorable," she commented.

Dennis held Kelsey's face with both hands and kissed her forehead. "You look gorgeous."

She faked another smile. "You don't want to ruin my makeup with your kisses," she commented and broke away from the embrace.

Janet remained in her corner, adoring them. Kelsey walked up to her and held her right hand. She pulled her closer to Dennis.

"She's Janet. We met in college yesterday. I told you about her right?"
