More days continued to pass and Kelsey couldn’t even keep track of when it was day or night, the cell was continuously dark and the silver cage was even worse.

She had never been in such a small space for such a long period of time. Every part of her body ached and she wasn’t getting enough food.

Simon only remembered to feed her at nightand on rare occasions he brought leftover pizza in the morning.

She had no idea where she was, if she was still in the same city as Denis or even the same country and sometimes it felt like she was in an entirely different world.

Her babies were kicking in her stomach uncomfortably. Everyday she prayed that she didn’t have to give birth to them in a silver cage. She talked to them when she was bored and sad and she was so sure that they listenedbecause they kicked her stomach in response.
