~b~ arrived at the hospital after he had put theentire pack on lockdown. He texted Denis to inform him of his arrival and Denis called and asked him to meet them at the last door to the left, upstairs where they went to check security footage but the only thing ~b~ heard over all the loud whispers of the nurses was security footage.

The whole hospital knew there was something big going on, rumors had spread like wild fire but just like every rumor, none of them were accurate. It was all hear-say, everyone has a different story of the same incident. When ~b~ asked for directions to the room where Denis asked to meet, no one asked him questions like they would have on a normal day.

The morning breeze blew, and the crystal clear dewdrops slid down the leaves and jumped cheerfully. The green grasses woke up under the gentle morning light, and it looked greener under the shower of rain and dew. A few little birds screamed crisply at Alpha Dennis window and the sound awakened him. He gently pushed open the window and fresh, fragrant air rushed over. He took a deep breath and allowed the cool breeze to blow on his face. He crossed his hands across his chest and let out a loud sigh. Today was the mating ceremony of his best friend and Beta. Alpha Dennis hated to go to mating ceremonies as he always felt intimidated whenever he attend such events. He was twenty four and still couldn't feel his mate which means he might probably not have one. Alpha Dennis sighed and stood up from his bed, he stretched and headed for the bathroom. He stepped under the shower and allowed the warm water to run down his body, different thoughts ran through his head as he did that. It was

He stood up and moved towards the couple when he found them alone. "My warmest congratulations." He said, breaking them away from their hug. Troy laughed, and Alicia blushed against his chest. It was apparent Troy just told her something probably dirty. "Thank you, friend," Troy said, placing his hands in Alpha Denis's hands to shake him. "Thanks for gracing our mating ceremony." Alicia thanked him as she pulled away from his hug. "The pleasure is mine." Alpha Dennis said, smiling widely at both of them. He left them and went to the other side of the room to socialize and meet up with some other people. He doesn't look happy", someone whispered behind him. Alpha Dennis could hear him clearly, he felt he might not be the one they were talking about. "Who are you talking about?" Another person asked. "Alpha Dennis of course, c

Kesley's house was the far opposite Alpha Dennis's house; that would be a long drive for him as he would have to driveway back down the road to his house. She was grateful for the favor, but she felt terrible for causing him such inconvenience. "Thanks for the trouble." She said, "The pleasure is mine." Alpha Dennis smiled; he didn't see it as being inconvenienced; he was rather glad he could help out. More so, he'd just almost run her over; what better way to apologize. The car got silent again, and Alpha Dennis tried making small conversations attempting to ease off the silence in the car. "How are your sister and her husband?" He asked her and cringed at how absurd the question sounded. "They are fine." "I haven't seen them around in a while." He said. "You should have seen them tonight; they both attended the ball party held in Troy'

You are trying to make fun of me right?", Kelsey asked again "Of course not", Dennis disagreed, "I'm not joking, I am so serious about this and I want you to pretend as my mate, just for a while", he confirmed. Kelsey stopped and stared at him for some minutes, "But why do you need a fake mate?", she mumbled Dennis fell back to his seat, he placed his hands on the car steering wheel and sighed, "I am 24 already and I don't have a mate, I can't even feel her unlike others who can feel theirs. And there it was. The silence Denis literally killed for. Simon's manic laughter no longer filled the air and now what they were left with was Jerry’s silent sobs. “You better start talking if you know what’s good for you.” Denis said and Jerry starts to wail even louder. “I have no idea what he was talking about, I swear. Simon spent most of his years trapped inside a clinic, you can’t believe everything that came out of his mouth.” Jerry said vigorously wiping his tears while staring at Simon's body.“You’re the liar!” Kelsey shrieked. Denis arms were still wrapped around her keeping her in place. “I’m not lying I swear! I didn’t kill your parents.” Jerry continued to defend himself and it pissed Kelsey off even more. “I saw the fucking pictures, you sick stalker! I saw everything!” Kelsey finally blurted outhaving kept it in for too long, she had had enough of Jerry’s lies. The road to the cabin was hardly even a road. It was just a thick fog of leaves and trees, basically a forest but with tire tracks.“I thought you said your family used to come here?” Denis growled at Jerry when the car bumped into something for the umpteenth time. “We used to, like a million years ago.” Simon snapped back, he was in an uncomfortable state at the back, therefore taking all the hit of the car. He’d bumped his head a million times, he was sure it was going to give in and crack anytime soon.“I think they’re building something out here.” Peter commented. “These tire tracks, they’re not just your regular tire tracks, it’s definitely from a heavy machine, look how deep it sunk.”“I don’t give a shit what they’re building, it’s out of my jurisdiction and I just want Kelsey.” Denis answered and increased his speed ignoring every bump on the way and letting Jerry bear the brunt of it “It’s the other way.” Jerry said pointing with his head.“You better not be bullshitting

He couldn’t afford to make any mistakes.“Was that really Kelsey?” ~b~ asked worriedly when he saw the look on Denis' face. They were about to go another drive around the pack when he stopped walking and started acting like he was possessed and he could see ghosts but when he mentioned Kelsey, it started to make more sense.“Yes and I need your help with something.”Denis answered quickly. “What?” ~b~ asked readily. “I need you to help me find some place, Kelsey gave me a description but I can’t figure it out.”“Sure, I’ll grab my computer.” He said and ran back inside while Denis trailed after him with the same speed.Everyone turned to look at them when they burst through the door. “What’s going on?” Kate shrieked asking the question on everyone’s mind. “Kelsey reac

His call didn’t last as long as Kelsey would have hoped which was forever. He was back in a few minutes and he returned to his initial position, only this time his knife was no longer with him. He had mindlessly dropped it when his phone rang a few minutes before, but he was still unaware that it was missing.“I can’t say this enough but I’m going to make you miserable.” Simon said and Kelsey sobbed, dabbing her tears with the back of her left hand and concealing the knife. She had stretched herself beyond her capacity trying to get the knife when Simon dropped it and she had succeeded and her it hurt a little below her belly. “I’m going to make you mine forever but I’m never going to love you.” His words were like stab wounds to Kelsey’s heart. Everyday she prayed that she didn’t have to give birth to them in a silver cage. She talked to them when she was bored and sad and she was so sure that they listenedbecause they kicked her stomach in response.
