Chapter Twenty Eight

Dennis walked out of the house and joined Kelsey in the car. He mounted the driver's seat. Kelsey was stamping her left leg slightly.

Dennis wrapped the seat belt around him and Kelsey did the same. He cleared his throat loudly and She thought he wasn't done scolding her.

"When we get to my parent's house, we must be of best behaviour." He said with both hands on the speedometer.

Kelsey turned toward him. "You don't have to tell me that Dennis. I'm not going to march into your parent's home and start wrecking things.

Dennis sighed. " By being of best behaviour, I mean we need to keep our act straight. We are going there as a couple right so we must act like one."

"We have to prove to them that we are deeply in love to avoid any form of suspicion so we must be conscious of our words and gestures."
