Chapter Thirty one

Kelsey returned from college and met Dennis sitting in the living room. Beside him was a small luggage box. Immediately Kelsey walked into the room, he rose to his feet.

"Welcome back. I was waiting for you to arrive," he said.

Kelsey replied. "Is there a problem? I can see you are all set for your trip."

"Why don't you go upstairs and pack up? I'll wait right here. I'll drop you at my parent's before I head out for my trip." He told her.

"There is no need for that."

"What are you saying?"

Kelsie sighed and dropped her schoolbag on the couch. "What I'm asserting is that there is no point packing. I don't want to leave here."

"You must be joking." Dennis retorted. "You want to stay here by yourself?"

"Well, you should have asked me whether I could cope before you went ahead and announced to your parents that I'll be coming over and now it appears that I can cope," Kelsey said.
