As soon as I walked into the house, Alan took my hand before I could even blink and dragged me into the garden. I was surprised at his demeanor but after what happened between Freya and I in school, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she had come running to tell him about it. When we got to one of the pavilions in the large garden, I pulled my wrist away from his hold and began to massage it gently with my other hand, not the least pleased with his behavior.

“If you wanted me to come to the garden with you, you could have asked me politely.” I said to him, but the look I saw on his face made me to swallow the rest of my statement.

“Freya came home pissed as hell this afternoon,” he began, coming closer so that he was all over me. “She wouldn’t stop calling you a hypocrite, so I want to know what the hell happened.”

“Why don’t you ask her yourself?” I said, trying to walk out but he had his hands on both my shoulders again, stopping me from achieving my aim. In anger, I shrugged off
