I walked into school the next day with all eyes on me. Some of the students murmured as they walked past me and from their discussion, I knew they were talking about the subject of Zachary’s banishment. So many of them believed I had something to do with it, but I ignored their murmurs since none of them had the guts to come ask me about it.

As soon as I walked into the classroom, all speech stopped, and everyone focused their gazes on me. I scanned the class for Freya who seemed to have left the house before me and she was seated on her desk, hands folded with Chloe bending down over her, probably asking explanation for what had happened the previous day.
