I knew Melissa hated me. It was in her eyes and also in the tone of her voice. I might look like a monster to her because I had done a terrible thing to take back what was supposed to be rightfully mine, but I knew she would grow to forgive me one day. Afterall, she had no other choice because we were both going to spend the rest of our lives together.

The rogues I had put in charge of the cell bowed to me as soon as I approached and i nodded my head to acknowledge them. The cell housed four separate prisons, each large enough to accommodate more than twenty people at once. So, we put the mansion warriors in one cell, placed the pack warriors in another, and kept Alan and Freya in the third. The warriors were all pleading for their lives when the cell door opened but I ignored them completely and headed over to where Freya and Alan were kept.
