“I will be damned.” I murmured, standing to my feet at once. I tried not to believe anything she said because Alan and his family had a history of lying, but from the sound of her voice and the tear that dropped from her eyes, I already knew she was telling the truth.

I turned to look at him, to stare at him, trying my best to see any resemblance between the both of us but there was absolutely none.
