Elena’s POV

Midnight approached, and I made my way to the old warehouse, my heart pounding in my chest. The building loomed before me, its windows like empty eyes staring back.

I pushed open the creaky door and stepped inside. The air was thick with dust and the scent of decay.

"Alex?" I called out, my voice echoing off the walls.

A figure emerged from the shadows. It was Alex.

"Welcome, Elena," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "I've been waiting for you."

I steeled myself, ready for the truth. "Tell me what you know about my parents' death."

Alex chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I know everything. And I'll tell you...in due time."

He led me on a twisted game of cat and mouse, taunting me with hints and clues. My frustration grew, but I refused to back down.

Finally, he revealed the shocking truth. "You see Elena I killed your poor miserable parents, Elena," he said, his voice devoid of emotion.
