Elena’s POV

I was still chatting with Daniel, discussing the details of my factory project, when my phone rang. I excused myself, apologizing to Daniel, and answered the call.

"Hey, Elena. It's John," he said, his voice low and serious.

I walked away from Daniel, finding a quiet spot to talk. "Hey, John. What's up? Did you find out anything about Alex's sisters?"

There was a pause on the other end of the line. "I did. But it's not what I expected. Can we meet in person to discuss?"

My curiosity was piqued. "Of course. Where and when?"

"How about the coffee shop on 5th Street at 2 pm?"

I nodded, even though he couldn't see me. "I'll be there."
