Their World Part 3

ALEX'S P. O. V

Organising the clearly different posters, she is troubled by this world everything is just do normal to them. It is as if everyone is content with living against the laws of nature, perhaps she's being dramatic. Their Fate seems to be happy with with all the sexual immortalities but she has more than the confusion that infested this world in to accepting every type of sin as a reality.

No she's more troubled by the alpha she bumped into today. Goodness gracious, his scent was as clear as day. Father. It was overwhelming, dominant and constricting. He was terrifying, she marked each paper before placing it inside the box. She thanked God's control over destiny that she was able escape before he noticed, nothing. There nothing to chase. She is nothing. Nothing can make that alpha curious enough to be in pursuit.

"Come on Alex you have been at this for two days now. It looks fine, besides it is the same thing. All you were asked to do was take all the posters from the office and distribute it amongst the newbies to advertise their competition."

"That is something I was going to do, but the damned idiot I had the misfortune of bumping into messed up my entire order of papers I finished stacking that day. And for your information these are clearly different, these varies from different members in different faculties. Take a look at the different marketing strategy"

"Seriously Lucas jump in here. Listen princess, I do not know whether it is your compulsive disorder but this really insane."

"Lucas tell Leo what I'm doing is beyond his business."

"Lucas."

"Lucas?!"

They both spat simultaneously when their gaze met they realised the men whose attention was required was nowhere to be seen. They stared at each other blankly before breaking down into fruitful balls of laughter and continued their banter.

She really does enjoy spending Leo who wants to be a dentist and has this sweet, caring side that make her want to protect him. She wanted to protect him from being corrupted by this world, his world. She already lost Lucas to his sinful nature that lust over an eighteen year old boy.  She shook her head raddled by questions and after about ten minutes she could finally seal the box.

"I bet you, his with that first year kid. What is his name again? Shh, do not tell me... Mhmm Toby. Do you think that Lucas has a thing for him?"

"I have nothing to say right now regarding this."

"Does this make him... Uh gay now?"

"I was raised to think different than you lot clearly were. I still need to adjust to this place and it moralities, until then you do not want to hear my opinions."

"Okay. Even if he is, as his best friends we should always support his choices or maybe this is not a choice? I do not know the rules regarding that. Besides gender does not matter when it is an alpha and omega, again I do not know enough to judge. But what I do know is that I want the best for you guys. If Toby is that for Lucas I will wave my pride flag. Go him!"

Alex shrugged not entertaining the encouragement to support this madness. She stacked the boxes on top each other, they already knew her stance regarding sexuality so she does not have to add anything. Getting up she moved to sit where Leo sat, liking girls pictures on I*******m. They sat there in silence but Leo had to break the solace with a ridiculous question.

"So, are you into guys?"

"What else do I have to be attracted to?"

She's an omega, if any alpha knew, mating would barely be her choice if said alpha happens to be her destined. She could do what many of the females in her former pack did, find a good alpha and get married. That is still an incomplete bond but all the woman seem to love their lives. Perhaps things did not not seem to be as it is without control, she should question whether those smiles were a social obligation like her presence there. No, that idea still would never work out. She knows this façade has to stick the consequences are undesirable.

"You know what I mean."

He gave her a pointed stare and she honestly did not know of a way to explain her feelings since she plans to ignore each one.

Suddenly an idea popped up, she and Leo once stayed up late looking up a bunch of feelings people have which made her see where the other alphabets came from. (Sorry but don't get triggered it's just a book). She scoffed amused by this world's ignorance and denial of biological facts, she finally faced Leo ready to answer.

"No. I do not have any romantic feeling for either genders. What do the call this again? Asexual. Asexuality is a thing you know, you world should know about something like that. What about you? Are you in to men or women?"

"There is this girl I like but she does not seem to be interested, you know. I don't even think she notices me at all."

"Did you tell her how you feel? Girls likes guys who are honest and open about their emotions.. common head up, stand up straight and have a lot of confidence. Make sure you check out all the determinants to see whether or not it is feasible to shoot your shot. Make a move without a conflict and I know you will be fine. You a great guy and if she does not see it I promise someone will and will and they cherish you like you deserve."

"Alex can I be honest, uh No I want to be honest with you?"

"Of course you can Leo, there is no need to literally ask we are friends remember."

The nervous expression in her friends dark eyes got wash off and replaced by stoic expression. The door banged open and Lucas strode in walked in holding two bags, one bag with take-out meals and the other with snacks. None of them trusted the innocent smile on his face and the fact he bought them snacks, means it had to be a favour.

"What do you want?"

"A favour."

"We know. What?"

"Okay, in order to understand how I got to the position I'm in right now and for you two to get how I got here I will have to start from the beginning. Alex I know your stance regarding my choices but please attempt to understand as one of my best friends, please sit. As you both know I like Toby and it turns out, I like him more than just a lover my wolf acknowledges him as my fated. Then there is Jayden, who also likes Toby. Apparently they met before his arrival at Moon and he enrolled here so naturally Jayden was there to give him a tour. You with me so far? (Nods) Good because this is the part that drives me insane.

I wanted to see Toby so I went on a 'bathroom' break that one time, I wanted to give Toby his favourite pink milk. 'Because not matter how busy his day is the taste of the pink milk always sweet.' His words not mine ( Toby). I saw Toby laying his hands on Jayden's shoulder. Then later they hugged and saw him rest his head on Jayden's shoulder. I think Toby might actually like Jayden which really sucks because on the other hand I have been working to get his attention especially now that his legal."

"Okay and? Is there any progress or conclusion to this story?"

"Alex! Inside voice remember." (Leo scolds elbowing her side)

"It is fine Leo. I do not know how he feels about me. I don't know if by chance Toby recognise our soul tie to each other. I need to know if his wolf is waiting for mine or if he is already taken. Fortunately I found a way to test that and confess."

"What are you going to do? Follow him to the Moon camp grounds and confess?"

Alex smirked her snarky level on a new high. She was once more punished for making fun of the alpha who is hopelessly in love.

"Common Leo I was clearly joking. Besides, you are only three years older than uhm, him... Anyways I am suprised you waited this long... Besides Lucas  wouldn't actually do that, I mean go as far as to miss an entire week of education just to follow a bunch juniors to the beach..."

"Actually..."

Alex groaned her mind screaming to call the fool an idiot but he held his tongue. She knows Leo would not be pleased with her behaviour so she chose to stuff her mouth with greasy pizza.

"Our campus Coordinator asked if I would love to accompany the future moon candidates to camp near the beach, due to my title as Moon 2016. Guys it is fate, I am not meant to give up on him. I agreed to go to the camp and also volunteered you two to go with too. I know what I did was a dick move, I should have at least asked you beforehand but in the heat of the moment I didn't think. I do not know what to do and I need my best friends to support me, I can feel it Toby is my fated mate.

Back then, call me selfish but I did not want to be tied down. We were both too young and his age made me most uncomfortable especially when we speak of responsibility so I kinda let my fated slip through my fingers. That when I was ready to even glance at the future, him. My future begins with me needing my mate and after three years of constant communication Toby came back into my life. Somehow everything aligned itself though him, I feel it in my bones his my fated. At one point I am glad I finally acknowledge my feeling enough to want to do something about it but now unfortunately I kinda see Jayden as competition."

"Calm down man. You are technically the top in our class, so a week off will not affect your perfect score. So take this time to figure out the mess of your emotions, don't worry Alex and I we will just be there for back up... right Alex?"

She probably stopped paying attention, all she did was ponder if what her pack preached is a lie. Impossible, their book also condemned such immoral sexual sin but Lucas is a friend who did not judge her past. Although her friend lack information of said past, they accepted her... Maybe verbally hating on their ideology is kind of selfish on her part.

"Right. So whose car are we taking? Since this whole thing is last minute and all."

"We will take mine."

Leo offered, his façade was back on. Alex was so close to an emotional break through. Jayden was full blown into Leo and Leo's mini crush could be Jayden or said girl he speaks of. Boom one of her friends will finally in a healthy relationship but it will be with a guy.

And the other now waste his braincells partying, enjoy one nightstands and drink like his getting paid. Dammit. Why the hell does this beta, feel they need to be emotionally close off when there's an alpha around who wants him? Sould she be encouraging such behavior?This is ridiculous but Alex chose to let it slide.

After a few more hours studying and eating the snacks meant to bribe them, Lucas took his leave. He spent almost thirty minutes in his room before Leo also left leaving her alone in her small although comfortable space.

Working out at night was so much better than during the day. She is so insecure about her weight especially when people tell her 'you look pretty for your size.' It does not help the people who constantly tell her, her shape is attractive are often those with questionable intentions. She just despise it when the gym is full, lockers messy and the area stuffy surrounded by perfectly toned people judging each other.

She is a member of the '27 Hour gym' it is the only establishment that looks great and also affordable. Unlike the girls Leo brought over constantly, she will never be able look like those girls unless she goes through surgery. It is not her fault her digestive system fails to cooperate at each turn but it is a burden she did not mind carrying. Although the fat in her body sabotaged the way she sees herself by filling up her cheeks, bellyish, hips or the one that brought more attention, her ass.

She does tend to be more confident even though she has no idea on how to do things, that false strength got her through a lot of messed up situations that got her here. She's stronger irrespective of the moons presence, more of an intellectual usually she's more angry too.

She started off with stretches, to loosen up her tight muscles and after ten minutes of picking the right music, she hopped on the stationary bicycle. After tapping a selective amount of numbers and level, she was on the move. Tonight's goal 25K. With her dark headsets on she played upbeat songs to keep her in the mood. She was far lost in the melody that she did not recognize the man standing beside her.

A playful smile broke the resounding awkwardness and left that left her speechless. Who is this work of art with ridges of muscles, tempting her curious fingers to trace his spectacular vision?

Who the hell is this guy able to ignite such and affect? His woodsy, homey, spicy scent finally hit immediately destroying the moment. Shit. Alpha. She almost tipped off the bike at his sudden jump, she was in shock by the man's reflexes that were impeccable. Damn the man proved to be faster but what she did not expect is that he would be nicer than she initially expected....
