One Suspicion Part 28

NOAH'S P. O. V

Alex usually takes forever getting ready for anything so he used Logan's bathroom to shower and change for bed. He got downstairs to see his mother patiently waiting for him to walk to her.

"Mom."

"How is she?"

His mother pulled a seat out for him and he took it releasing a burdened sigh.

"Why can I feel her emotions as of they are my own?"

"Because she's unaware that she's projecting. Son you have found you fated now, you have to take responsibility and be responsible."

"Mom, in case you haven't noticed she tames my wolf before she even realized she did. I have developed feelings beyond our fated bond and I've never been so lost."

"She's a troubled one indeed... This is your story son. I know that I've raised you right."

"You know."

His mother smiles and rests her hand on his. Perhaps Alex told his mom about her previous pack and as that thought popped up her face changed to that of pity. This is how she would look at him when he failed to get some answers right after she explained it, geography has never been his strong point.

"She's different. Look son, she made an effort learn about Blue and it's people. I saw something was bothering her but you can feel it. Listen to her, she actually talks if you if you pay close attention to what she says."

She pat his head and kissed his forehead goodbye and he walked upstairs with ice cream in hand. The moment i open the door, concern rushes over me when he sees her eyes red... it is as if she has been crying. She plastered a smile and moved to kiss him. Usually his all for his fated jumping him with passion but right now he can feel something is wrong.

The wedding was beautiful, the bride cried before the 'I do's' the entire ceremony was beautiful. His fated showed more emotion than he expected but later that night they spoke about it.

She huffed and the feeling of rejection overwhelmed him but before he could say a word she started speaking.

"The bride looked so beautiful today.... Does she know what Logan is?"

He pulled her gently to rest her head on his chest. Her bringing this up with a heavy heart he felt made him concerned.

"Yes. Logan kept it a secret at first but he wanted to build a life with her so he told her the truth."

She gasped and he shrugged the same time her reaction confused him.

"Did she get upset?"

"Yes. But it was too late because she also caught feeling for him. She was more hurt at Logan keeping his nature a secret than the news. Axx, can I ask you something."

She took a deep breath, sealed her eyes shut and nodded.

[The scent is back. It's her. She's sweet can you smell that?]

'Yes. But we have to control our urges. She will leave us if we do not listen.'

His wolf took a step back and he asked his question.

"Are you fine."

Her eyes opened shocked, he handed her the small tub of ice cream and a spoon. She teared up drowning her sorrows in mint chocolate chip.

"The bride looked so beautiful on that stage. I'm pretty sure Ploy thew that bouquet at me, I've just been thinking a lot."

"You want to married?"

She hit his head with the spoon pouting and she look so damned cute he laughed.

"No. No. No. I'm not ready for that right now."

"The three 'no's' again? You are starting to hurt my feelings."

It's literally getting hard to take no offense, face fell when she recalled the last time she declined his offer the same way. This time she kissed his cheeks and lips which tastes so sweet like the rest of her, shaking his head back to sense he faced her.

"I'm sorry that was not my intention. The marriage thing is the problem though. Noah, I just lost my ways."

She started crying but she just made him more confused if that's possible.

"Although the people in my old pack were terrible, I respected and lived by their values. It's a very important part of who I am and should strive to be. Marriage is the most important especially when I'm doing what we've been doing. The bride look so beautiful and happy and I want nothing but for their happiness.

But when I caught the flowers, memories of my dreams and desires growing up came up... The bride was so beautiful, the wedding perfect and I fear that. Everything went on perfectly, Logan is a great respectful man who's perfect for my girl but-"

She tried explained but all he knew is that her emotions are so intense and he has no idea what to do about it.

"My nature, my beliefs, my happiness is something I find with you but this is still all immoral. I'm afraid of commitment but I'm only with you. I'm afraid to have children but without the commitment I can't. I want to give myself to you but I'm afraid I won't be that bride you and your customs-"

Okay. Let's break this down quickly... She's strict on her beliefs that she hates they sleep together outside of marriage yet is not ready for such a commitment. She wants children but cannot without marriage. She wants him only but does not want to overstep Blues traditions.

"I understand."

That's all she wanted from him because  the moment he said that her arms wrapped around him.

"I'm so sorry and understand if this is too much for you. Noah please just give me time, I don't want you to leave me."

With her head buried in the crook of his neck he chuckled. She is committed to him physically, emotionally and his fated mate his asking him not to leave.

"I'm not going anywhere. You are mine."

She sobbed until he heard her deep breaths. He carried her to her side of the bed and took a sample towel to wipe her puffy cheeks and eyes. He changed off his shirt and faced his beautiful mate. She gravitated to his chest and he hugged her until he drifted off to sleep.

ALEX'S P.O.V

She woke up from the most perfect dream she could have ever thought of, her hand pat the side of the bed to search for Noah but it was empty. She walked into the bathroom to take her pills with water from the sink and started her shower. Still alone she wore comfortable clothes that look attractive enough to not make her look homeless and began cleaning the room. Noah is no where to be seen and shes terrified to leave her room since her eyes are still kinda swollen even after the shower.

She grabbed the phone and it finally donned on here why she is alone in bed. It's already twelve thirty she growled getting up sliding into her indoors slippers, what will her elders think? Why the hell did Noah not wake her up?

"Morning sis Lexi."

Ora respectively greet and she smiled patting her short hair back.

"Hey Ora. Did you see Noah?"

She's not proud to admit that while they walked no one would pay attention to her but Ora turned around.

"Lexi? What happened to your face?! Is uncle Noah responsib-"

She panicked and covered Ora's mouth but Noah mother must have heard the commotion. She turned to go back to the room but she can't be so disrespectful as to leave before greeting her elder. She looked down as to not show her face and bowed her greeting before she turned into a hard body.

"Noah. Mr Zheng."

She bowed again successfully dodging curious faces. Her anxiety picked up and she took a step closer to Noah who pulled her closer.

"Lunch will be served shortly."

Food was the last thing that crossed her mind at that moment and that moment was made worse when Ora pulled her out of Noah's arms. She could feel Noah's anger rising so she steeled her anxiety and faced the Ora who must have a lot of thoughts in her head, neither true.

At this point Noah father was no where to be seen and his mother just looked in to what was happening. She gently touched her juniors head and smiled at her deciding to be brave and to worry the adorable girl.

"Ora. What concerns do you have?"

"I'm worried because your face is swollen. Were you crying? Are you alright now? Did uncle-"

Her eyes must have flashed again because her junior stared in wonder. There is no way this innocent pure soul would ever meet danger, she formed a relative bond with the little girl and Noah's mom looked in like she knows.

"I was not feeling well yesterday but I'm all better now."

"Can you please show me your wolf?"

Noah was about to intervene but she laughed at the curiosity in her beautiful hazel that is  more closer to the green side.

"Will that make you feel better?"

She smiled nodding and she smiled looking at Noah then his mother of permission. Noah must have also been intrigued because he quickly agreed and his mother nodded with an unreadable expression.

"We will have lunch first."

She nodded and moved closer to Noah who gave her a questioning look.

"Will you really shift?"

She shrugged looking forwards at the amount of food that was being brought to the table. His father walked in and they sat down she nodded smiling at the surprised look on his handsome face.

"Yeah. It stopped her questions and it will make her feel better."

"Can you shift now? Uncle To, sis Lexi is about to shift for us come hurry."

Ora pulled her outside and she laughed enjoying her juniors company. She shyly faced the crowed that formed pretending to be working, she faced Noah embarrassed.

"I can't control- nevermind."

Before he could say anything she shifted into her midnight wolf jumped out causing minimal pain. Actually it hurt but is the type of hurt she can handle since she has a high pain tolerance mainly due to her past. She walked to her mate and circled him before sitting next to him.

"Your eyes are blue."

She ran to Ora and licked her hand and she brushed her fur. Something wanted out and she step back and face her mate. When she faced Ora again she gasped and her wolf whined, she shook her head shaking off the darkness.

Shes is back in control, can anyone else see the lingering darkness? She feels stronger and she strode to Noah's side but instead of sitting like before she stood and faced everyone as if she belonged.

"Axx. Your eyes are red."

Instead of the weak side of her being interjecting she stood by her mate, no reaction is needed she's way more stronger than everyone here and is unbothered by the alpha of alphas.

The happy ball still came close to her and everyone looked in concerned but she likes the tiny woman. She got up and laughed and just like that her wolf is in control. She more playful and she even walked up to Mrs Zheng who laughed in delight. Eventually she went back to Noah expecting to understand that she is unable to shift into her damaged clothes.

"Wait here I will go get you something to wear."

She played, sniffed with every servant, maid, and occupants. Noah came back holding his clothes in his hands and she directed her to the downstairs bathroom. She shifted and wore the clothes Noah handed her, she fixed her hair before leaving the bathroom.

"Sis Lexi that was awesome. You shifted into a totally new person before becoming you again. At first you were black goldish and your coat spotted with spots you original colour. That was awesome.

Mom-mom did you see? She truly looked like a Luna queen standing next to uncle. It was as if you were protecting uncle, no you were just standing by him to outline your superiority and that looked awesome.

But then you changed from a reddish to your blue eyes made you more playful, it was as if you have two wolves inside of you. Mom-mom is that possible?"

She was too nervous to face her boyfriends parents so she opted to address wolf who she formed a kinship with.

"Can you take me to the kitchen? I'm craving ice cream."

Ora nodded and pulled her rambling about what happened to drama at school and she went on for so long she was half way done with one of the bigger tubs.

NOAH'S P.O.V

"Son follow us."

His father who also witnessed the scene and change of his Axx called him and his mother to follow him. They followed until they got to one of the sound proof office also known as his mother's domain for her and her patients. They shut the door and faced him.

"What is she?"

He has no idea

[She's our mate. Our powerful question.]

Honestly ever since that first moment when they bumped into each other, he knew that was not her wolf but he brushed it off because it did not matter to him. Today was different she stood by him and it was as if he could do anything, his wolf desired more.

For that moment he felt like the duecalion and he stood before his people with his mate by his side. The moment her eyes turned red he focused on they intensity of her, although she backed down just for a second and she did something that caught off guard.

She stood by him whatever she was at that moment surrendered to his own power but faced everyone including his father, the actual duecalion with so much challenge.

"Son, what did she tell you?"

His mother tried but his mind is else where. His fated mates scent changed, it's subtle but his been around her long enough to detect the difference. She's remarkable yet there is a lot he does not know including her nature and is very much uncertain about her status.

"Her father left her at a young age and she took care of herself until her mother came back to her senses. She's from a strict pack she left for personal reasons I will not share with you.

She has an over compulsive disorder. Shes not ready for commitment but she is committed to me. But without the actual commitment she's not ready to have children which is confusing, I know. Her scent changed. I can feel her emotions like they my own..."

"Son did she tell you her nature or at least her status?"

"Yes. No. Yes, she's a wolf with actual healing capabilities. No, she does not feel comfortable talking about that."

At this moment he sat on the chair before facing his parents completely at a loss.

"You have found your Luna son and it looks like fate blessed you with a strong mate that will-"

His mother covered his fathers mouth before he could finish his thought. She gave her husband a pointed glare then faced him...

"Honey. Your combined auras gave me goose bumps, look. The fact she's by your side and you happy, you have the packs blessing."

He nodded and left the office, Axx walked up to him. The intensity was no where to be seen, he couldn't have imagined it though.

"Did you like my wolf?"

He nodded immediately and he kissed her forehead. She gabbed his arm and began pulling him up the stairs...

"If you love her... what about you make love to me?"

Who would ever refuse suck a tempting and hot offer?

[Not us.]

They got inside the room and he locked the door before attacking his mate, she took a step back after a few minute of making out.

"Condom."

He already thought of that as she smile and went back to doing what her succulent lips were doing before hand. Whatever she is he does not care as long as she is with him, his ready to challenge the world.
