NOAH'S P. O. V

"Toby. Who was that?"

He couldn't have been vaguer with his question but the omega answered the way he processed the question.

"Those guys? They are just Lucas friends. Leo and Alex Both are in the faculty of medicine. Although I think Leo truly despise my existence for some reason (He pouts looking like a run over puppy)." 

Dammit the omega looked far off the direction the car drove off. (I know, it is hard to believe this guy was right about something regarding love.) Yeah. Yeah his a genius and all but this genius waited almost four years to confess to his crush. Wait this guy could never speak to his crush up until recently and he won the damned bet they made attaining the existence of fate. 

"Lunch and dinner is on me."

"Wait. Why do you want to buy me food? Don't tell me, you need a favour?"

He laughed. 

"No. It's nothing like that. I concede to fates existence, at this point she might as well just throw me in a den of lions to exclaim her point." 

"I don't understand (he tilts his head)."

The action made him look more adorable. The moment his guard was down that curvy beauty made her way to his thoughts. Damn.

"Beautiful Alex... I do not know how I feel about her. I saw her exactly three times which cannot be considered a coincidence. Once would have been a coincidence. Twice with the same level of interest might have been destiny. Somehow this time it was direr, my soul cried out to hers, my walking question mark.

I literally just had a conversation with her once and i still cannot get thoughts of her out of my head out of my head. Even when she's not around I think about her.... Dammit I cannot get her out of mind and I really tried. I have not felt anything like this for other girls at campus and cannot even stomach being with them anymore.

Remember when I told you lightning does not strike the same place twice? It did not until I met Alex. I do not know what this feeling is that I get when I think about or see her but I never want to lose that feeling. Shit, I also do not want to fall in the same rabbit hole you fell into. No offense."

"None taken. Noah. Alex is a really nice although she tends to be a tad offensive sometimes, I don't know  Lucas told me to to take whatever she says to heart... I know you jump from one conquest to another but understand Alex is not that type you just fuck and dump man. If you just fascinated by your feelings, take in to account said woman's feelings."

What type of man does Toby take him for? Yes, he has been with a lot of girls but now he finds himself obsessed with the very thought of one woman. The girls he wanted to use in this timeframe skin scorched like lava and his immediate treat to end their lives if he goes on. So basically he wants Alex so does his wolf and because they both agree, no women will ever be good enough again.

Noah should really just think about his soft, innocent Alex and think about whether he can or cannot Commit after he gets what he wants. He concluded after all his efforts to get the woman out of his head and in every scenario he came up with it turns out he cannot hurt Alex. All he wants to know is that his not crazy for his feelings, especially of how fast and deep they've gotten. He changed the topic. 

"Toby. It turns out our next stop sells fried pork, what about I buy you that then you can tell me what you want later?"

"You cannot buy me with food but yeah. Do not forget my pink milk or if they do not have apple juice."

"Lucas? What do you want here?"

Toby went to go take a shower about ten minutes ago and he usually takes thirty minutes because he just like the spray as ridiculous as that sounds. A knock sounded on the door, Noah went to open the door to see Toby's fated. 

"Greetings to you too, Noah. I have a proposition for you. Toby has no idea of this that is why I trust this will stay between us. I want to spend with my fated, get to know him and this not really vacation will give me the opportunity. Of course this is your room and living space for the next four days so I wanted to express my intentions."

"Which are?" 

"I want to mate with my fated. You have to understand how the age gap scared me but fate gave me a chance to get back what I thought I lost. As I said, I am very honorable and plan to get to know him and he I."

Haha. His serious? Wow. Wait till Jayden catch wind of this proposition. 

"And pray tell. What is the proposition?"

"Haha, straight to the point. This is a key to the room the guys and I are going to stay in, I know it is not nearly-"

"Deal."

He did not have to finished whatever he was about to say before he grabbed the key card. Is he the worst friend, he is literally about to abandon his best friend just for a room key card?

"Good then."

Lucas handed him the key, certain Lucas knew at least a fraction of the reason he immediately agreed. Wow, Noah got the key to the room. Fate has to be throwing them together. Now he had to find one way to her heart or at least her pants. He has a feeling, whatever his fated is (status), she belongs to him or so help him goddess. 

Fate does have a way of letting thing fall into place. Toby? He did not need to worry about his best friend since Jayden is coming as well. He informed Jayden about the move and he will be here the whole week too helping out their faculty (engineering). Mainly he was to keep an eye on things because he does not trust Lucas with the timid boy he is related to.

Jayden has a relative relationship with Toby, that was not made public yet and he used that to his advantage. Jayden figured it out, he somehow killed two birds with one stone. He made his poor boyfriend jealous, to fulfill his own satisfaction of knowing that said boyfriend wanted him as well as test how long he can stretch Lucas's patience. Listen. Fate is going to happen regardless of the interventions or borders, so why fight it? He holds one key.

ALEX'S P. O. V

The door unlocked and opened. A very tall good looking man walked in holding a bag which he dropped when he entered. He had a predatory smile on his handsome face and when his eyes met her, she froze in anticipation. Annoyed at the new comers unwelcomed presence, Leo got up to confront the stranger. 

"Who the hell are you and why do you have a key card to our room?"

"Wow. I cannot believe you are a role model senior, how mean you are to a junior. (He fakes a pout) Besides do you not remember me? Haha. I bet I did get taller, more muscular or handsome?"

"Uh. The foolish talk... Norman. No. Its Neil, right? I don't think so. Nathan-"

"Noah." 

Alex interjected helping Leo recall the good looking alphas man's name (she remembers him). She would never forget him. She does not understand why from the day they met has she not been able to get Noah's stupid face and perfect smile out of her head. It is frustrating, being attracted to her junior but what is worse is being attraction to an alpha. There is nothing is more disgraceful than that. They are Selfish, self-entitled, arrogant, narcissistic pricks and she knows it is not all alphas but that knowledge does not mean she does not have to remain wary.

When both man looked at her, she rolled her eyes, continuing shading on her spare book since her other book got lost. Before she knew it she realized her sketch looks oddly familiar and when she looked up at the annoyingly handsome man. The alpha male worked on explaining why Lucas betrayed them and gave him the room key card. Although she did not pay him attention, the image on the book was uncanny. 

"What are you drawing?"

Noah stepped closer and she immediately shut her book, embarrassment laced with irritation gave her enough courage to walk out of the room. Making her way to the beach, like a tail the guy followed and when she got tired of walking as if she has a purpose she stopped, making sure to glare at full force.

"Why are you following me?"

"I wanted to offer you a sweet snack. Here."

Confused the 'snack' in his hand was a chocolate and when he opened up his hand it was a bar-one. Chocolate? Stunned and literally out of words Alex walks away, not caring if she was perhaps being rude to her persistent junior. Gosh she hates being confused and the idiot followed. 

Literally. No amount of chocolates would ever be worth peace of mind, whatever this guy was up too she would not play. She did not escape hell to fall for an alpha. Thanks to her suppressions there is no way this alpha knows her status, right? Then why is she still being tailed? 

"Common. Why do you hate me?"

"I don't."

"Then why do you keep running away? I am interested in getting to know you. Interested to seeing more of those expressive eyes, perfect flushed cheeks and cute dimples that you are trying to hide unsuccessfully if I may add."

Her skin tinted a deeper shade in response to her embarrassment and she wondered once more why a good looking guy is out here following her. Gazing at her as if he wanted to devour her whole, his focus unyielding and that fact made all the butterflies wrestle. Thankfully or unfortunately someone broke the mighty spell. 

"Noah. Come we need to do our photo- shoot. We are all waiting for you. You know what? With your handsome and powerful frame and my slender and feminine pose we perfect together. If we were to date again we are bound run the junior class of Moon University and make it all the way to the top in this competition babe. I did say I wanted a break, breaks over we dating again and I will make sure to update my social media."

She spoke enthusiastically, arms wrapped around his body like it was her temple. How dare she? How dare he? They used to date? Shit, he should probably give them space but his feet are planted where he stands. Thankfully she did not even care to acknowledge his presence, her mouth continued racing against time. Until she dragged Noah away to the photo- shoot, the fact he did not seem to mind her affection and the fact he did not dispute her claim made it all clear to her. She will always be an option, every sane person would choose a super model than a plain Jane. He ass is just teasing her for kicks and giggles like her response to Destiny's pull means nothing as if everything is a sick joke to him. What a jerk. His in a relationship. Here you go again, do not put yourself through this. Walk away. Fool me once, shame on you.

Walking away Alex passed a trash can and she angrily ripped out the paper, crumbling his mistake. Discarding the image in the trash can, she went back to their room took a shower and allowed herself time to breath stealing her resolve. She will not fall victim again.

Four more years to go to get her doctorate she told herself to ease her anxiousness. She cleaned her side of the room then washing her hands again, she fell asleep and for the first time not thinking about the player. Noah. Waaboin his fantasy, even there he did not wish him a goodnight. Goodnight. Dammit.
