ALEX'S P. O. V

Damn Toby and his inability to keep things to himself. Technically she is no way at fault because Leo kissed her but regardless of that knowledge it does not makes sense, if by chance they did know why are they so calm? Especially Jayden. The operations of that relationship is beyond the rules of nature, alpha can not be with beta and a man cannot bed another but this world seems to be very flexible with the rules. Back to Jayden, everyone already knows how possessive he is over Leo that he is willing to forfeit the one which was destined to him. Maybe she is just tripping, perhaps Noah holding her in his very hot embrace was driving her insane because actually feels content in his arms thst she relaxed. Her wolf is bound to drive her insane, she continuously insists that the alpha holding her captive is her destined. The moment Noah got too comfortable holding her back she blurted something and hated the face she saw on Leo's face.

She pulled away from her prison and slapped the man's side, she expected repercussions for her presumptuous actions. She actually took steps back to Lucas's side, Noah wouldn't strike her in public right? When nothing happened she assumed not which brought the fury of her attitude. She cursed the alpha for such an indecent act, she is a woman of high values this alpha found a line and he crossed it with his damned...Fuck Noah. A couple that has not has time together, that have so much potential for pure everlasting happiness future rest in his hands. Although her actions right now would not be so holy, she just lied in fact it is not fair to her best friend who seems to be affected by Jayden's silent stare. She's super observant so when everyone was blind or ignoring the dancing sparks between the two (Jayden and Leo) but she noticed the flickering ticks of fire when the two began last year. Leo was quiet averting his alphas gaze, avoiding Jayden's, Alex couldn't be that selfish. Although she does disapprove of her friends sexual orientation but it felt wrong lying and stealing a love that was selfless.

Last year Leo started acting weird. There were days Leo followed her, he kept her potential future husbands  away from approaching her. At first she thought he was being a very good friend but Lucas did not act like that with them. Other days she observed how Leo got jealous when people spoke to him, she was honestly confused by the change in behaviour she chose to ignore the changes. Leo treated her like a girlfriend, more than a friend. He started buying her gifts, taking her out to eat as 'friends' and he also drove him to and from places. The last one was super helpful and a friend would probably do that but if you add everything together... Individually these were things friends probably do together but once you start to add everything up together it is a relationship. That alone made her take a step since she did not see Leo in any vicinity close to that and she did not have the heart to lead him on. It was easier to conclude the results and to make things easy for everyone involved if she acts Choi. He worked on getting Leo to admit his intentions for the relationship he was not chasing. 

She never once gave Leo a chance to alter or break their friendship and for a three months it worked out perfectly. Time past so did the twos popularity (Lucas and Leo) got him invited to many parties. One night they planned to go clubbing. At first the three joined their fellow medical classmates for pizza and drinks in Alex's case is dry lemon. That was before entering the club near the campus varsity. Jayden their first year senior joined them. Leo and Lucas went to get drinks, she was out there minding her business and she saw Jayden talking to some guys. That is when he heard Leo's phone ding and since he knew his password he typed it in. A text that appeared halt his movement.

Seeing that messages and not answering the calls, Alex knew she had to stop beating around the bush. She had to run, that is why Lucas was not around he was busy trying to help Leo out, damn. She might probably hate herself for this but she has to run. Thankfully a drunk Dre, their classmate appeared and she kissed him. Procrastinating went a long way. Even if she had to tolerate the sin of kissing a guy who was drunk enough to make out with random strangers lips in a club, he grind his body on hers and she decided to push him off and run off. She is sure that ass would find his choice of willing females in that club of bad decisions. Her decision was the furthest thing from mature but it gave her time, for what she has no idea.

Although that day she went along with the kiss after seeing Leo with their drinks and she left the party with him, after that night she took a two hour shower crying. She literally sparred no time to wash her lips so much times until it felt like his lips are raw. She is a medical student who fears the risks of indulging in such fibulas actions. She did not want to contract some unfortunate kissing bacteria like meningococcal and virus like herpes simplex.

From that day onwards Leo started being unsure so he stopped making obvious advances. Not certain what happened between them but under his observant gaze it did not take him long to realize. Leo disinterest was not remotely about him because at the end of that faithful day, Alex did not change but Leo did. He is in love with Jayden and he watched the whole thing to this moment when she begged Leo to join his lie. He was making up for the kiss, right? Alex was so close to backing down but Leo held his hand and did not back down under Jayden's dark, gaze. Their attention burnt a hole through Toby who was supported and hidden by Lucas. Damn the omega, if only he kept his mouth shut none of this would have happened. 

"The truth is. Alex. Leo. I did not tell Noah anything."

Damn it. It looks like she is the one that sole them out and the worst part Toby still covered for them, she felt horrible for considering him a traitor. When she saw Jayden turn his back to leave, her hand fisted in unbridle anger. He raised their hands still joined, he knew the decision he would make is bound to bite him in the ass. Still his friend deserved happiness and that happiness seems to be an alpha, man and not his normal preferred status. Somehow she knew Leo's pride would stop him from, stopping Jayden's departure. Luckily her pride did not have anything against ensuring others happiness, she has made peace with this world homosexuality option. Although she does slip from time to time due to the bizarrness of the world shes constantly being exposed to.

Leo has to be happy now not silently longing, last night he must have felt the nonexistence of the spark between them (the lack of spark between Leo and Alex). Besides she felt like she would be the worst person, most of all friend in the world if he got into the middle of her friends happiness.

"Jayden stop. Leo and I are just friends, last night was proof his interest in me was misdirected. I think you two need to talk, besides Toby and Noah need to grab something to eat before their final dance rehearsal."

They left as a group, grabbed something to eat. Apart from Lucas and Toby making her sick with their cuteness. Noah scorching her with his persistent gaze making her shy but he tried to ignore it. They paid the bill when Lucas interjected with his stupid meddling. 

"Xander. What you did for Leo was admirable. Toby and I will do the same for you too."

"Wait. Wha?-"

They stood underneath a palm tree her view more unbelievable than the wavering water, she stood facing the man wet dream were made of. Sin. Watching Toby and Lucas disappear from sight, the only person that remained was a very handsome Noah. Trying with all her might to not face the man still standing cross armed. Focusing her attention on her arms, whenever she was around this man she felt overwhelmingly shy and the fear of the sin made her despised that. All she could focus on was his biceps and how they felt holding him hostage, face flushing his embarrassment he broke the silence.

"We fine? Yes we are. We do not need to talk."

Before she could run away he was stopped by his gripping touch, stopping to face the man. She did not expect him to kiss her and that moment felt like what she wanted her first real kiss to feel like. Warm, soft, inviting and when she opened his mouth to protest but.... the alpha made the kiss more demanding, hot, passionate and they did not stop, for that moment Noah was her air. Somehow they made it to her exchanged room, she was still drunk from just a kiss. The only thing at that moment than could alter the mood was what Noah did next. Noah removed her shoes opting to walk barefooted inside the room. Studying Noah sculptured body after Noah dropped her on the bed and was then on top, his warm sculptured body a touch away. 

"Uhh. N-Noah. Stop. Let us stop I-"

"Trust me."

Goodness, judging by Noah's size when he was pressed against her near the beach, she was definitely not ready. Holding his reservations back he waited for him to screw up so he can use it as an excuse to hate him.She hated to admit she wants more of this feeling but it was all happening too fast. She cant be tis girl who just sleeps around, he has to remember the moral teachings from her old pack. Her plan is probably not well thought out because she is still beneath the hot frame encompassed by his manly scent and peppery gaze that made him want the alpha to do anything to his body.

"Ah fuck Xander. You are so fucking hot. I'm certain I only want you but I'm going to wait until you trust me enough to be with you. For now, let us just cuddle."

In his steady, strong warm embrace he fell asleep and when he woke up the room was as organised as before. By the bed side table food was laid out and a note stuck out, assuming it was addressed to him he read it.

We have rehearsals now, I didn't want to wake you because you look so beautiful, happy and at peace in your dreams. I would never want to steal your dreams away from you. Whenever you wake up, you can come watch me :) I will be waiting for you.

Oh shit. Staying away is proving to be very difficult indeed. She felt like she was a part of one of their fates cruel joke to corrupt her too, to participate in their worlds transgressions. She tried to run, now it is too hard to stay away and she felt that.

LEO'S P. O. V

"I do not know when but somewhere along the way I lost romantic interest in Alex." 

Leo started by thinking about when he held Alex's hand, there was no deep rooted emotional ties. Yesterday when they kissed he expected fireworks, music, and the lights but instead he just kissed Alex.

"Turns out Toby's is your cousin. Alex found out about this not real relationship between us and Lucas is finally real with his emotions."

"We have?"

Leo knew what he wanted to hear but between them the matter still stands. Alphas are not meant to be with betas. What if his mate comes along? What then? He feels fates stubborn bond but there is a rule. Alpha do not lay with betas, there is nothing to it meaning there is no point to that relationship. 

"It is complicated. I know Alex likes an alpha (Noah) even his dumb rule to stay away from alphas is not a match for fate. (Dumb because his actually interested in him, let's call their encounter fates will). Honestly I thought when the day came when Xander developed feelings for someone else I would be heartbroken or devastated but I am not. Alex may not realise the way she bares her attention on the poor guy looking for flaws, reasons to not be attracted to him. Classic Alex. Although I do understand her reservations."

"Then what is holding you back?"

Jayden made his way closer to him, each step making him nervous. Why nervous? 

"You. I mean. What do you mean?"

He knew he was rambling at that point in time, his brain scattered all over the place he barely made sense even to himself. They entered the hotel room. Starving Leo took the bag of breakfasts leftovers. They ate left-overs, despising the fact he was comfortable around this man. They commented on the football match playing and he came to ease on his defences, he was completely clear minded.

At that moment he stole the show by leaning in and pressing his lips onto his and after a second of waiting for inevitable consent, Jay dominated the kiss. Hell. Leo did miss his arms, his touch, and his manhood pressing against him desperate to be touched. Everything this man does just fuelled his need. They have been intimately together, in fact his the only guy he has ever been with and knowing his temperament in bed urged him to go on. 

"Leo."

"F*ck. Say my name again, please."

"Leo, you are mine." 

The alpha demanded His voice low, seductive and heat his words threatened to ignite his dormant flame.

"Jay. Please. I am yours."

As if a switch was turned on. Jayden switched face to an all- time alpha mode, turned to a new high. This primal side of him turned him on...
