Sarah's pov

I am pretty satisfied with my situation right now. I didn't need to do anything to them, so I took Lira's hand to get out of there, but Alex held my arm. "You're really rotten, Sarah. Now I know whose card you're using." He judged me not only with his words but also with the look in his eyes. That card must be Ethan's."

Rotten he said? I furrowed my brow. How could someone like him call me rotten when he had behaved even worse than me. He who is more despicable with his behaviour insults me worse than him. Obviously, he has absolutely no idea what the word means that he can talk carelessly.

"Oh, so she's a cheap woman who apparently uses other people's wealth for extravagance!" Emily exclaimed excitedly, the smile on her face moving in sync with her facial expression to make fun of me. "No wonder she was able to buy it, apparently someone else's card."

"Shut your mouth! The garbage smell is spreading everywhere!" Lira snatched at her while pointing and covering her nose.
