Sarah’s POV

"I have to tell him first." I left my room quickly to the next room to approach Ethan. I knocked on his door several times until it opened and revealed himself in the doorway.

"What's wrong?" He waited for me in the doorway of his half-open room. Waiting for me to tell him what I needed to do since I rarely knocked on his door.

"Em...." I felt a little reluctant to invite someone to come here since this was his house, even though he said that Lira could go anytime to see me. "My friend, Lira, wants to come to see how I'm doing. Is it okay if I let her come?" I looked at his expressionless face.

When he nodded, I felt relieved. "Sure, she can even stay over if she wants. I don't mind at all. You're free to invite your friends, even without asking my permission first." He responded casually.

I held a smile on my lips with her answer, which left me satisfied. "In that case, thank you." I pointed to my room. "Then I'm going back to my room."

Ethan nodded his head and I hurried
