Joaquín gazes through the tinted door of his Black Toyota Fortuner. Kahit heavily tinted ang mga bintana ng sasakyan nya ay silaw na silaw sya. He puts on his Ray-ban. He have a blasting hangover, bloodshot eyes, and throbbing temples. He closes his eyes wishing to get some sleep.

Dinukot nya ang cellphone sa bulsa ng kanyang laptop bag, wala pang isang linggo nyang nabibili ang cellphone pero durog na naman ito. Naiwan pa nya ang isa sa bahay nina Abby. He let out an exaggerated sigh.

“You want something?” Rafael asks as he glances at him through the rear view mirror.

“No, just some sleep,” isinandal nya ang ulo sa upholstery.

“Here, I brought you this, it will help you get some sleep,” inabot ni Rafael sa kanya ang isang bote ng gamot.

Punit ang gitna ng ibabang labi ni Rafael sa pagkakasuntok nya nang bulagain sya nito kaninang umaga sa bahay nina Abby at pilitin syan
