Chapter Twenty One

Aurora’s POV

Someone cleared his throat loudly and just like that, the moment was gone. I awkwardly cut the ribbon with Emily and smiled. After that, everyone applauded and moved on with the mini-ceremony. I was still left feeling unsettled from my encounter with the woman.

Why had she called me a healer?

I looked at my dad trying to gauge his expression. His face gave nothing away. I was glad the ceremony was over, people were now going into the clinic to look around. Clinics or Hospitals were sort of a rarity in our world since adult werewolves rarely ever got sick; I’m sure the clinic would mainly serve children, teens, and expectant mothers. While young pups are growing, the occasional accident can’t be completely avoided and because they don’t have their wolf yet, healing time is much slower.
