First Day At Work: So not pleased

  Episode 25

 Thompson industries 🏢

Emily walked into the company, looking less than thrilled. She was dressed in a simple white shirt and black pants, her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She carried a small black purse and walked straight to the elevator.

* " Welcome to your first day at Thompson industries miss Emily" tlyer greeted warmly but Emily just nodded.

        

" Erhem...since you're boss's pa, you'll virtually be with him most of the time so you don't have a specific office. So for now, you'll be placed in the planning department. Please come with me" he said leading the way and Emily followed.

        

     

  " Good morning guys" tlyer greeted with a smile

   " Morning mr Tyler" the employees answered.

        

"Hmm uhm everyone, this is Emily boss new PA and Emily this is the planning department" he introduced. Emily stepped forward.

        

" Hi everyone, my name is Emily Wilson but you can call me Emily. I hope we all get along thank you" she said

        

 " Welcome to Thompson industries Emily, am the team leader you can call me Mrs Sonia" Mrs Sonia said stretching her hand for a handshake.

        

 "Uh thank you ma'am." Emily responded shaking her hand. The others also introduced themselves before she left with tlyer.

        

 " okay Emily, this is the company's manual make sure to read it so you can know the rules and regulations" he said giving her the book. She just glanced at it and nodded.

        

" Now, you should go see the boss he's waiting for you" he said and walked off. Emily sighed before going to Ryan's office.

        

Ryan's office

*" Come in" Ryan said and Emily entered.

        

" Good morning sir" she greeted with no smile on her face.

        

 " Hmm, you're here...sit down"he said but she remained standing

        

" Thank you sir but am okay" she replied sharply and he looked at her.

        

 " Okay, suit yourself then. Am going to mention some few things you must always do for me as my personal assistant....have tlyer given you the company's manual" he asked

        

" Yes sir, he has" she said

        

 " Boss" he said and she looked at him confused

        

 " Huh?"

        

 "Call me boss, that's what everyone call me here and so should you"

        

 " Okay si...I mean boss" she corrected herself and he nodded.

        

" First thing, you must always welcome me in front of the company when I come to work. Secondly, my coffee must be made by you, not to sweet, bitter or hot. Thirdly, anything you see or hear when you're with me must not...be exposed outside. Last but not the least..." He turned to face her.

        

" You must always come to me... anytime I call for you, and sometimes I work from my house so... you'll also..."

        

" Never!" She interrupted him.

        

" I'll work for you anywhere, but not your house...why should I come to your house to work does that even make sense" she asked glaring at him. Ryan just chuckled

        

" You're quite funny miss Wilson. Am your boss and anywhere I want you to work for me you have no choice but to obey" he said and she scoffed

  * Jerk, am sure he's planning something else and I won't fall for that...not again* she thought glaring at him.      

 " I don't know what you're thinking but...I don't care, just do what I say that's all" he said and sat down. She was about talking but he cut her off

 " Go get me my coffee now" he ordered, Emily glared at him before going outside. Immediately she left he dropped the paper in his hand smiling.

        

* Emily Emily.... let's see how long that tough shell of yours last* he thought with a smirk.

* " Here's your coffee boss" Emily said putting the coffee Infront of him. He nodded and took the cup but he hadn't even take a sip when he dropped the cup immediately.

        

"Ahhh! geez what is this...are you planning to brun off my tongue!"He snapped. " Why is it so hot!"

        

" I I didn't...am sorry boss I'll go make another one" she apologized quickly and carried the tray of coffee.       

       

Few minutes later she back came again.        

" Gosh, didn't I say I don't like my coffee to be too Sweet. Make another one again" he ordered and she went again

   

   Few minutes later again

* " Gosh, you seem like some one who is competent but look...you can't even make a simple coffee, it's too bitter!" He snapped.

   

Few minutes later again        

" Tskk tskk, I think I've made a mistake. Too cold, again!" Emily took the cup outside. 

        Immediately she went out Ryan burst into laughter.

* Break room

Emily dropped the cup angrily on the table.

 " Gosh that jerk!" She clenched her hands 

" Jerk, he's just playing with me... don't worry. I'll just...play your game" she said to herself and a dark smirk appeared on her face.

     

 Ryan's office

" Hmm , come in" Ryan said adjusting himself. Emily came in carrying a long tray with different cups of coffee.

        

   " What is this?" He asked staring at it.

        

 " Well since I don't know your taste yet...I made different cups of coffee for you. Am sure one of them will suit your taste. Excuse me boss I'll take my leave now." She smirked before walking out of the office leaving Ryan dumbfounded.

 Trevor's company

The sound of giggles and whispers filled the air, followed by a soft voice which sounded like moans 

        "Trevor, oh Trevor..."

        " Stop it, hahaha"

         The voice grew louder, more urgent, and was accompanied by the rustling of clothes and the creaking of a chair.

Suddenly, the door to the office burst open and a man with a stern expression stormed in. His face turned red with rage as he took in the scene before him.

        

Trevor, caught off guard, quickly pushed the girl away and stumbled backward, his eyes wide with fear.

  "F-father, I can explain..."

But the man was beyond reason. He marched towards Trevor, his fists clenched, and delivered a swift punch to his son's face. Trevor's head snapped back, and he fell to the ground, blood dripping from his nose.

The girl gasped, her hand flying to her mouth as she shook with fear. Trevor's father, his face pumping with rage, took a step closer to his son.

"You're a disgrace, Trevor!" he bellowed. "Instead of focusing on ways to take down Ryan and improve this company, you're wasting your time with...with...this!" He gestured towards the secretary, 

Trevor, still reeling from the punch, struggled to defend himself. "Father, please listen..."

But his father cut him off " Shut up!!You're just like your uncle, lance- selfish, arrogant, and only thinking of your own pleasure. You'll never be a true leader, Trevor. You'll never be worthy of running this company!"

The secretary, still cowering in the corner, whispered "I-I'm sorry chairman am sorry" but Trevor's father didn't even acknowledge her.

"Trevor, you're a disgrace!" he thundered. " I can't believe I gave birth to a bastard like you, Bastard!! the only thing you're good at is drinking and having fun with women.You'll never amount to anything! You're a big disgrace!!" He spat angrily and Marched out.

Trevor, still dazed, struggled to get up, but his father's words cut deeper than his physical blow. He was very angry he's face twisted in anger as he watched his father storm out of the office. He clenched his fists, his mind racing with fury and humiliation.

He turned to the door, as if to chase after his father, but stopped himself. Instead, he slammed his fist into the wall, making the frame shake.

"Damn him!" Trevor cursed. He turned to the secretary, who was still cowering in the corner, tears streaming down her face.

"You're fired," he growled, his voice cold and menacing. "Get out of my sight!."

The secretary, still shaking, scrambled to her feet and grabbed her things. "I-I'm sorry, sir..." she stuttered. "Please I I don't have any other job please..."

But Trevor cut her off. "Just get out now!!" he repeated.

The secretary didn't need to be told twice. She fled the office, leaving Trevor alone with his anger and his thoughts. Immediately frank came in.

        

" President, president are...are..you okay sir?" He asked but Trevor responded by landing a blow on his face.

        

 " Where were you? Why didn't you let me know my father was coming huh?" He asked and grabbed him by his collar.

        

 " Answer me you bastard!!"

        

" I...I was calling you secretly but...you didn't answer my calls" he manged to say and Trevor released him.

        

 " Ryan, Ryan it's always about him, it's always about that bastard!!" He yelled throwing everything on the floor.

        

  " I'll make you pay for this Ryan, just you wait!" He said to himself breathing heavily.
