I don't need your help!!

 Episode 28

Ryan entered the storage room and saw Emily mumbling to herself.

        

 * What's she doing* he smiled watching her as she ruffled her hair while pouting.

        

  * Cute* he thought. She carried a stool and climbed it but he saw the leg was shaking so he went to her, before he could talk the leg snapped and Emily wanted to fall, he quickly stretched his hand and caught her by the waist.

        

      He watched as she closed her eyes tightly and squeezed her lips, he couldn't help but smile at her cuteness. She opened her eyes and thier gaze locked, her gray eyes looked so beautiful that he felt himself drawn to them.

        

 " Boss..." She muttered and he put her down

        

 " Erhem, you should be careful you almost fell just now...good thing I was here to catch you" he said with a smile 

        

" You shouldn't have caught me" she said

        

 " Huh? I shouldn't have what?" He asked confused

        

" You shouldn't have caught me," she repeated with a straight face, Ryan looked at her in disbelief

        

" So, you would have... preferred falling and injuring yourself rather than me to catch you?..." He asked with a raised eyebrow

        

" Yes, I'd like our relationship to be strictly professional"

        

 " How's helping you out not been professional?"

        

 " I don't need your help!" She snapped and he kept quiet,

        

 " You helped me once and here I am... repaying that debt...so I'd like for you to not help me anymore" she said glaring at him. Ryan frowned angrily

        

 " Okay fine, I won't help you anymore" he said and turned to leave but paused

        

 " Am taking tlyer with me you're not needed" he said in a cold voice and left. Emily sighed and fell down breathing heavily. She touched her chest and felt her heart beating so fast like it would burst.

        

        * It's better this way, I'll try my best to avoid him until I pay him back...I won't let him use kindness as an excuse to hold me back.*she thought.

 * Ryan got into the car angrily and Tyler stared at him.

        " B_boss, weren't you supposed to go with Emily?" He asked and Ryan glared at him 

        

" So, you don't want to follow me either huh!" He snapped making Tyler shake

 " No no boss I'll go... driver driver let's go" he said and the driver started the engine immediately.

        

* Just what is her problem, why does she hate me * he thought and sighed

        

 * Why do I even care, am only doing this for her kids... Ryan don't get involved with her, she's not worth it* he nodded agreeing to himself.

  *Alex house

Ding dong ding dong.!!!

        

"Hey Ethan! Get the door already!" Alex snapped from upstairs

        

" Come get it yourself am busy!" Ethan replied

        

" Stop playing that stupid game and get the door!!" She yelled and he rolled his eyes.

        

 " Sometimes I wonder who's the senior" he mumbled and stood up tp open the door.

        

" My sister isn't well come back la..." the remaining words got stuck when he looked up and saw Patricia

        

" Oh Ethan, hi... you're here too" she smiled waving her hand nervously. Ethan just went back inside ignoring her.

        

" Who's at the door?" Alex asked coming downstairs in her bathroom robe. Ethan ignored her and grabbed his car keys.

        

 "Am leaving" he said

        

" Huh already?" She asked

    He opened the door and went to his car ignoring Patricia.

        

 " Pat you're here come in" Alex said 

        

" Hmm" she sighed sadly before following Alex inside.

* Little Bloom kindergarten

   Ryan leaned against the car as he waited for Zander and Ashley, the kindergarten had just closed.

        

 " Mr Ryan! Mr Ryan!" Zander shouted excitedly as he and Ashley ran to him.

  Ryan smiled and bent down to thier level to hug them.

        

" You're here!" Zander said and he nodded with a smile        

" Hmm, did you guys miss me?" He asked

        

" Of course we missed you especially Ashley...she even wrote a letter for you" Zander replied and Ryan faced her

 " Really, a letter for me" 

        Ashley nodded then brought out the letter from her bag and gave it to him. He wanted to open it but Ashley stopped him

" Oh, I should read it at home" he asked and she nodded

        

 " Thank you guys, I really missed you two as well...here I bought a little treat for you" 

        

 " Wow ice cream! We love ice cream thank you Mr Ryan" Zander said and he smiled. Ryan gave Zander strawberry vanilla flavor while Ashley chocolate but she didn't collect it

" What is It Ash, you don't want it?" Ryan asked

        

 " Oh she doesn't like chocolate flavors, here ash have mine I'll take yours" Zander gave her and collected her own ice cream.

        

 "Oh sorry but I did ask the ice cream man which one kids like the most and he gave me these, I didn't know that I'd meet someone who doesn't like chocolate like me" Ryan said with a smile, Ashley's eyes widened and she signed.

        ' you too' 

        

 " Huh, what did she say?"

        

 " She said you too don't like chocolate" Zander interpreted.

        

" Hmm yeah ,I aslo don't like chocolate, what flavor do you like the most Zander" he asked and Zander licked his mouth

        

 " Me, I love mint flavor just like my mum...she loves it too, I guess I took after her" he said smiling, Ryan nodded

        

  * She likes mint* he thought smiling.

        

 " Zander, ash!"

        

" Uh, uncle Landon!" Zander waved

   

  " Who is he?" Ryan asked

        

   " He's my mum's best friend and our uncle" Zander replied and he nodded. He remembered seeing him at the hospital the other day

        

" Your mum asked me to come get you two" Landon said after hugging them

 " Yay!, does this mean we're going to your place!" Zander asked and he nodded, Ashley jumped up happily

        

 " Good afternoon my name is Ryan Thompson" Ryan said stretching his hand for a handshake. Landon glanced at him before turning to the twins

        

 " Let's go kids, I made alot of snacks for you guys" he said

        

 " Yay! I can't wait...bye mr Ryan see you later" they waved at him before going with Landon.

        

      * Rude jerk* Ryan scoffed before leaving in his car too.

*. " Achoo, achoo!" Emily sneezed for the tenth time.

        

 " Emily are you sure you're ok, you've been sneezing for quite a while now" mrs Sonia asked and she smiled

        

 " Am okay mam, I think the dust from the storage room earlier affected me but I'll be fine" she answered 

        

" Okay then but make sure to get some rest when you get home, it's closing time now and Mr Ryan have already dismissed you for today" Mrs Sonia said

        

        

" Hmm, thank you mam I'll go now".

 * Bus stop

  The rain kept falling heavily and Emily stood under the shade, she was already shivering from the cold but she couldn't find a single taxi.

      * F**k at this rate, am gonna catch a cold* she sneezed again.

        Just then Ryan's car was passing by.

        

 " Huh, Isn't that miss Emily?" The driver asked, Ryan looked up to see her bending down and shivering

        

  " Looks like she couldn't find a cab"

        

  " Just drive" Ryan ordered and faced his phone.

               

 *I don't need your help!*

     

      *You helped me once and here I am... repaying that debt...so I'd like for you to not help me anymore*. 

        Her Sharp words ringed in his ears and he groaned.

  * Fine, suit yourself then* he thought frowning.

* Thirty minutes later

        

  * I can't wait here like this, the rain isn't stopping and Landon's not picking up*

    " Achoo!!, Ugh am so cold" she shivered. She took a deep breath before entering the rain expecting to feel the cold liquid hitting her body merciless. 

        * Huh, what's happening* she looked up and saw an umbrella covering her head.

        " I know you don't need my help, but I can't simply turn a blind eye and watch you shiver to death" a voice spoke

        

    * Boss...* She turned around slowly to see him but her vision got blurry.

        

  "I...I feel...dizzy..." She muttered and passed out but Ryan caught her.

        

    " Emily, Emily!"
