Chapter Seventy Two

“Why are you happy to see me?” Kate said, narrowing her eyes at Denis suspiciously.

“It’s Kelsey.”

“What’s wrong with Kelsey? Is she okay?” Kate asked and her suspicious face quickly dominated with worry.

“She’s been sick all morning and she’s had me go on endless errands. Her mood changes easily, one minute she’s smiling and the next she’s crying. One minute and the next she’s hot. Please help!”

Kate smiled at her son's mini tantrum, she can’t remember the last time he ranted to her like this or even needed her help.

“It can’t be that bad.”

“It’s bad, it’s very very bad.” Denis said dramatically and almost peeled his eyes off.

“Fine, I’ll help. Where is she?”

“She's in her room upstairs and if she asks why I’m not there to give her a massage, tell her I died.”

Kate laughed at her son's pathetic state. He looked haggard, he had an apron tied to his waist and stains and splatters of whatever he was cooking on his shirt. His hair looked rough and he was all sweaty, evidence that he’
