Chapter Seventy Seven

Denis stared at her, carefully examining her face. Kelsey loved that she had the upper hand, she tucked her hair behind her ears and folded her arms.

“I’m listening.” Denis sighed, he might as well say something. He opened his mouth but he was unable to form words. Kelsey loved that she had silenced him, although it might not hurt to get an explanation. She just couldn’t figure out why he would lie.

“I— I don’t, he sighed again. I just don’t like the way you’re always around Peter.”

“I don’t like that you’re always with him, it— its.”

Kelsey opened her mouth to say something and she closed it again.

“It makes it feel like, he’s your mate and not me.”
