Chapter 21 Blind Auditions

I was so fcking nervous because it's the blind auditions day, all of the episodes are showing up in the TV, I'm afraid that the coaches will not turn on me.

"Water, Ms. Romero." The staff handed me a bottle of mineral water, wow. A free water.

I just sat here in front because I couldn't find my batch mates, Crystal, Shaina and Alexis. And even my best friend.

"Oh! Katie! Glad you're here, can I sat beside you?" Crystal hugged me, I was not surprise that she's here, her voice is so good.

"Yeah, sure. We're now 2 from the batch, who's the one that was chosen also?" She asked.

"I don't know, but hopefully it's Alexis." I said, I just like her aura, blissful.

"Oh! I think, we need to come in Kate." She said, I stood up.

"It's blind auditions, who do you gonna choose if you are a four chair turner?" She asked.

"I still like Mommy Sha to be my coach, but I know there's a theatre people in the choices." I said before we enter the room.

"Romero, proceed to the studio." They given me the microphone so I immediately get inside the studio.

"Good luck babe." It was a whisper, I know where it does came from. When my material played, I sang the first note.

"She's just a girl and she's on fire..."

When I was about to sing the next part, Mommy Sha turned for me, I saw her mumbled OMG.

"She got both feet on the ground..."

"And she's burning it down..."

My nervousness fade away when another 2 coaches turned for me, I began to move on the stage.

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh... Oh, oh, oh, oh... She got her head in the clouds... And she's not backing down..."

I finally raised my left hand when the 4 coaches already turned for me. I'm happy.

"This girl is on fire... This girl is on fire... She's walking on fire... This girl is on fire everybody stares at she goes by... Cause they can see the flame that's in her eyes... Watch her as she's lighting up the night nobody knows that she's a lonely girl and it's a lonely world but she gon' let it burn baby, burn, baby..."

The crowd are so wild, what the? OMG! I'm so honored.

"This girl is on fire, this girl is on fire, she's walking on fire..."

I received a standing ovation even the song are not still finished yet.

"She's just a girl, but she's on fire..."

When I am done singing, I sat at the stage. Crying and watching them give me an applause.

"Don't cry sweet heart." Mommy Sha immediately ran from me and hug me.

"You are so good sweetie, OMG! I know you, Katie?" She asked gracefully.

"Yes Mommy Sha, top 5." I answered her while my voice are still cracking.

"Please return to your seat." The another coach said so Mom Sha came back to her seat.

"Introduce yourself sweetie." The man said.

"I am Katie Romero." I said.

"Did you join into different competitions before?" He asked again.

"Yes, Singing Idol. Where Coach Xiah won and Mommy Sha was the host." I said.

"OMG! I know you too Katie, Alleana and Aleiahe Musical right? So you are also interested in theatre." Coach Lani said, the boy coach ran into the stage and sat.

"I'll be sitting here because this is a very good show, can I ask for some chips there? I'll be watching the three of you fight for Katie." Oh he knows that he didn't have chance on me.

"Hello Katie, I think it was a destiny. I came here first because I need to brought you to your time, and that time was now." Coach Xiah said.

"Hi my forever sweet princess, it's me your Mommy Sha. I hope you join my team, so my team can win." Mommy Sha said.

"Katie, that story was all came from the past, you know which is important now? The present and of course the future. So Katie, who will you choose from us?" Coach Lani said.

"I don't wanna be a biased, but I'm choosing this coach because I know that I could still learn a lot from her. I'm choosing coach..." This was a hard decision, "Coach Sha." When I say that Mommy Sha immediately ran to me and put the jacket at my neck.

"Thank you for choosing me bunso. I love you and I missed you so much." She said before I get out of the studio. Wooohh! I made it.

"Romero!" I heard my name so I faced at the back.

"Yes? Oh Quen, hello. I made it Babe." I hugged him and then I just cried, I also receive a standing ovation from them.

"Yeah, I am so proud of you, are you going home already?" He asked.

"Not yet I wanna wait you and Gabby, I just stay here outside." I said.

"No, you can stay on my dressing room if you want. If I saw Gabby, I'll tell her that you are on my dressing room." He said.

"Thanks." I said before he told one of his staffs to take me on his dressing room.

"Ma'am Katie, do you need something?" His personal assistant asked me.

"Ah no, I'm fine." I smiled before he left me alone, I'm excited to have my dressing room also, I hope that I'll be having one soon.

"Hello Katie, I'm a theatre fan. Can I have a photo with you? I'm harmless Katie. I'm staff here." The girl said so I let her come in and took a photo with me.

"Thank you Katie." She said before leaving. The feeling was different when someone ask to have a photo with you.

"Where is the CR?" I asked the janitor.

"There ma'am." He point his fingers on the left side.

"Katie, you did so well earlier. It's been a while since I last met you." A manly voice came.

"Oh, hi." I gave a smile.

"That's all?" He asked.

"Yeah, nothing less, nothing more."
