Chapter 29 Discussion

"Good Morning, Katie and Alex!" Our manager greeted us with a whole smile, it's awkward.

"Good Morning, Sir!" We also greeted him back, I want to scream here! I am not comfortable yet!

"I know what's going on with the two of you right now, so let's call Enrique. Quen, come in." I saw my ex boyfriend came out of the small room inside Sir Emmanuel's office.

"Kate... Alex... Sir Emmanuel." His baritone voice filled the room, he sat beside me. I wanted to shout!

"Talk to them Enrique." Sir Emmanuel said.

"Sir Emmanuel, I thought you are only talking to me and Alex. This was not included in the memo that I received few days ago." I said.

"No, no Katie. I didn't say everything on the memo because I know that you will never come if I told you that Enrique will be here, right? But anyways, talk to each other first because the press are going to arrived in a few minutes. I'll be back." He said.

Again, Mr. Emmanuel left me with no choice, this is so awkward, we are only three in the room. Quen, Alex and me.

10 minutes passed by, Alex started to talk.

"So hello." She said.

"I don't know where to start this. I already sent an e-mail to Katie about this matter but she didn't replied, I don't know if she read it, did you Katie? Anyways, I wanna say sorry." Alex said, I am tired with her sorry's.

"What is sorry if the damage is done? Anyways, I want to get out of here because I can't breathe in the same air that you breathe." And with that words I ran towards the CR. I'm still not comfortable with Alex, but I'm comfortable with Quen. I miss him.

"Katie..." I heard a familiar voice calling for me, she was also knocking at the door. It's my first girl best friend here in the Philippines, but my question is why is she here in the management?

"I'm fine Gabrielle." I said out of nervousness.

"No, you are not. Get out of there." She said.

"I said, I am fine. You, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Are we gonna do this here? You're inside of the CR and I am on the door, I think it's not good. So get out of the CR, friend." I have no choice, she's not gonna leave me here so I need to get out.

"Gab..." I whispered but then she suddenly hugged me.

"I know you aren't okay. Would you mind telling me the problem? Even if I know already what's the starting point of all of this." She said.

"It really sucks being in the showbiz industry..." I don't know why my tears started to fell down after I say those words. I felt it.

"Yeaaah. I agree, Katie." She wasn't still letting me go, she's carresing my back.

"It really sucks but I know, you still have many dreams here Katie, you cannot leave showbiz. You need the competition, you want to work on Disney, right? I heard the price of the grand winner is One Million Cash, House and Lot, Recording Contract here in the Philippines, and one for Disney." She told me.

"Gab, I don't need the money and house. I already have home and I have money. I want the recording contract on Disney. Why? Because I want to get out here in the Philippines and move to another place. A place where can I work joyfully, with no judgement, I know there are some links that spreading on Social Media today that's why Sir Emman did this, right?" I said.

I don't usually check my social media accounts, such as Twitter because I will just hurt my self if I did that.

"And you think Disney is the best way to escape this? Then what? After your contract in Disney, you gonna come back here? It's that what you want?" She asked again.

"That's not what I want. If I save enough, I'll just stay there, it's safer on the other countries. Philippines is not safe, and we both know that." I said.

"I agree with you. But for now we need to get out, your handler and your manager is waiting for you at the lobby." She said and I was afraid.

"Is Alex and Quen still with them?" I asked.

"They aren't," she said.

"I'm leaving you with them now, but I'll wait for you outside, we have something to talk about," gab said and get out of the office and from there, I saw sir Emman and Ms. Cindy.

"Sir, Ms. Cinds." I said and sat on the sofa.

"Enrique and Alex wasn't here anymore because I know you are not comfortable yet, but I just want you to know that it's not my intention to hurt you few minutes ago, I hope you understand that Katie," sir Emma said and look at the floor, I know that he really felt sorry for that and who am I not to forgive him?

"Okay, Sir. Apology accepted," I said and after a few minutes, I get out of the office and I saw Gab patiently waiting for me.

"Gaaaaaaabbbb!" I said and ran.

"Kaaaaaaateee!" She exclaimed also.

"It's nice seeing you again after I think 1 month hehe. So what happened at the battles?" She asked.

"It's good, coach Sha chose me over Jane." I said.

"Your tone Katie, seems like you were not happy. Are you alright with the show?" She concernly asked again.

"I'm happy. How about you? What happened on the battles? Which team are you?" I asked because I really don't watch TV.

"Coach Xiah, the battle rounds makes me so nervous but I won it. Yaaayy! We're both advancing to the knockouts." She said.

From 18 artist that came from the blind auditions, then we're gonna have 2-way battles, there are only 9 left. The 9 left are advancing on the knockouts, we're 3 on the knockouts. After knockouts, Semi-Finals. Then from the 3 semi finalist, each coach will pick one to advance on the Grand Finale.

"It's already an achievement to enter the competition, even if I didn't won." Gabby said.

"What if we fight with each other on the Finals?" I asked.

"For sure, it's gonna be an exciting show. Because you were really good, but It'll pressure me, you have standing ovation in all of your performances, I watch your battles with Jane. Nerve rocking again Katie. You know when I was watching that, I was just saying that's my girl, that's my best friend." She said and hugged me, she's making me feel that I was really good, but I don't feel it when I am alone.

"Aww, thank you for the genuine friendship, Gabrielle."
