Chapter 27 Life Without You

"Yanna, thank you for taking care of me and Kiko for last night, I really appreciate it." I said and hugged her, she's about to leave... No, were about to leave and I'm bringing Kiko on the studio, he's just going to stay at Mama Sha's dressing room because Mama requested for Kiko.

"Of course Katie, anytime. Would you mind to be on the management today with me for only 30 minutes?" She asked.

"Even if it's only for 15 minutes, I will not go with you, Alex was there." I said.

"Aw, I know that feeling Katie, I love you always, I love you. I'll go to your studio Love, I'll watch, what are you going to do? Are the battles starting today?" She asked.

"Yes, that's why I am nervous." I said.

"Nervous of the other contestants or nervous because you are fresh from break up and you're gonna see your ex in that place, am I right Megan Katerina?" She asked.

"Of course not, I can still breathe in the same air he breathes." I said and she laughed, after that, she take us into the studio.

"Hello, are you Team Sha?" The staff asked.

"Yes, I am." I answered and Kiko barked.

"Please proceed to the lobby Ma'am." The staff said and then he offered to guide us but I refused it, I need to bring Kiko on Mommy Sha's dressing room.

"Mommy Sha." I called our coach and her daughter came up.

"Hi Katie, what do you need from Mommy? She's still not here, she's preparing her gown for this night." Her daughter told me.

"Ooohh okay, I brought Kiko here because Mommy Sha requested last time to bring Kiko, I was nervous because I can't bring Kiko on the stagez where should I put him?" I asked her.

"Oohh a dog, poodle, I can take care of him while you were still on the battle rounds, I think you are still rehearsing, or did you rehearse already?" She asked again.

"We rehearsed already before this day, this day is reserved for the performance, I just got here early because of Mama Sha's request." I said.

"Oh, I knew it. You can stay here first because I heard from the staffs that the Team Lani was on the stage now, Coach Lani was still teaching them." She said.

"I think that was just a little reminders from a coach." I said before Kiko barked.

"He was so cute." She said.

"Oh thank you." While we were talking, we heard a knock, she opened the door, and to my surprise, it was Enrique holding 2 burgers.

"Hi Monique, one burger for you and one for Katie, it was really for your Mom but I think she's not here right? But don't bother, I'll be bringing one again, enjoy!" He said and I stopped him.

"No need, I'm not eating Cheese Burgers." I said and raised my brows, I'm really a bitch, no, I was not, he just made me a bitch!

"Really, Katie? Really?" He was like that, he's getting into my nerves! I can't take this anymore, when the surroundings felt uneasy for me, Kiko barked. Maybe he knows what I feel right now, the helpless Katie because Monique didn't even know that Quen was my ex boyfriend.

"Yes. So leave." It was my talent, to make him leave everytime.

When Mama Sha got into her dressing room, I left Kiko there because I need to change my clothes, I was super fast upon changing them, I still have the pretty makeup which I put earlier.

"Katie, are you okay with that make up? Let's put some first, to make you even prettier." My makeup artist told me.

"I can do it on my own, thank you for the help." I said and she handed me the things, I put it as fast as I can, so that I can still play with Kiko on Mama Sha's room.

"Katie, you need to wear this." Quen get inside of our dressing room holding a leather jacket.

"No! I don't want that! It's not match on the color of my outfit." I said because I was wearing a spaghetti dress.

"Katie, please." He said.

"No Enrique! We are not together anymore so could you please stop this? I don't want this, that's all." I gave that to him and smiled bitterly before leaving and coming into Mama Sha's dressing room.

"Oh Katie, darling. You're dog is so cute, I really love the way he moves his tail, he's so cute, I wanna bring him home but I can't because you'll get mad at Mama Sha." Mama Sha said slowly while holding Kiko.

"Of course not Mama, I know you will take good care of him, so I'm letting him to be with you." I said and hug Mama Sha.

"But anyways Katie, don't be nervous okay? Mama Sha is here, I will not let you to lose, I was just sad before because you didn't won on the text vote on your previous competition." She said and sighed.

"It's okay Mama Sha, because me, I believe in the perfect timing, maybe this is the perfect timing for me." I said and smiled.

"I think so, but Katie, can I ask something?" Mama Sha said.

"Yeah, sure." I smiled.

"You and Quen are together before right?" I was surprised.

"How did you know Mommy Sha? For all I know I didn't told anyone about it." I said.

"I just observed it, but now you're not together anymore, I know it's awkward because he's the host of this competition, if you are awkward already, just look at me and I will catch you." She winked.

"Aw, thank you Mama Sha. It is okay if Quen is here, we are friends before so I can still get along with him." I smiled.

"Are you sure?" She asked botheredly.

"Yes, Mama." I hugged her.

"Katie, you are so great now. Don't let anyone destroy that Katie again Love, don't let anyone." I just smiled, maybe Mama Sha know everything about me, I think we are sharing a special bond that I couldn't still explain up until today.
