Amelia’s POV

Actually, there is more I want to say. I have a question. Nyx said that Eva is just a temporary Luna. Now he finds his mate. Shouldn’t the new mate become the Luna?

Never mind. I think I know the answer. I’m a human being. How can a human being become the Luna?

Nyx moves his lips and tries to say more, but he’s interrupted by the phone ring. He checks his phone. I also see the screen. It’s from the Gamma. Nyx hangs it up and puts it on the table. And it rings immediately when Nyx is about to say something.

“Answer it. Your pack needs you.” I pick up his phone from the table, put him through, and hand it over.

The call is already in progress. So Nyx can only answer it.

I stand up and walk upstairs. I don’t stop when I pass the bedroom that we once shared. Instead, I walk directly to the room next door.

He’s the alpha, and he serves his pack. That’s very normal.

And I’m going back to the human world. That’s where I belong to.

With everything figured out, I have a good sleep
