Nyx’s POV

“There isn’t a rule that says the alpha needs to stay in one room with Luna, right?” She asks.

“No. Of course not. I won’t be alone with her, and I promise no physical contact.” I shake my head wildly, trying to reassure her. I hate to see her looking distressed, although the way she gets jealous is so cute.

The Sapphire Pack has a long-standing relationship with The Blue Blood Pack, but the last visit between packs happened two years ago. And this time we have plenty to discuss and agree on. We have to stay there for one night.

Amelia purses her lips and doesn’t say anything, with dissatisfaction written across her face.

“Honey, trust me! I’ll get you a gift when I come back!” I carry her in my arms and make her sit on my lap, coaxing her and kissing her.

Her eyes light up. “I believe in you. Just so you know, I’ll make video calls with you at night. And you’d better answer them immediately” she says with a threatening tone.
