Amelia’s POV

It’s the first time that I feel that love again after the worst birthday of my life. That kind of strong electricity is running through my veins again.

I sit up straight from his arms. Now I look at him, my heart begins to race as I see him in the outfit that I choose for him.

Nyx cuts off a piece of cake, puts it in front of me, and feeds me with a spoon. Then he looks at me nervously.

The sweetness of the cream mixed with the flavor of strawberries activates my taste buds. It doesn’t look good. But it tastes so nice that I close my eyes to savor it.

“It’s so good!” I say with great satisfaction.

Nyx’s nervousness shifts into a bright smile.

I take a spoon and eat it. Wait, something hard hits my teeth. Why is there something hard inside the cake?

I spill it out with a tissue to see what it is. I pick it in my hand and see it closely. It’s a gold ring with a diamond on it!

I look at Nyx with great surprise. He takes it from my hand and slides it onto my finger.

“Isn’t th
