Nyx’s POV

This is going to be the worst day I’ve ever had in my life. And the lack of sleep last night is only a minimal reason. The fight with my mate is killing me.

When Amelie left the bedroom and left me alone last night, it felt that she also ripped away part of my heart and took it away. She was in the bedroom next door, and I wanted badly to see how she was doing. But I knew she didn’t want to see me at all. The mixed feeling of frustration and remorse that I seldom felt in the past overwhelmed me.

I picked up the jewelry case from the ground and opened it. Inside was a pair of diamond earrings. I walked to the window with the small case in my hand, looked outside the window, and murmured, “Moon Goddess, what should I do?”
