Valkyrie Behati

After breakfast, I headed upstairs to prepare for the office. Just as I was about to start, I noticed Pau standing there, waiting for me with a warm, patient smile.

When she saw me, her face lit up even more. She smiled widely and gave a small, respectful bow. “It won’t be long now before we have a special ritual here. Soon, you’ll be fully blessed by the moon goddess and become our Luna.”

I couldn’t help but pout at her words. She probably smelled my scent. “Pau, don’t make me too emotional this morning.”

Her laughter filled the room as she moved in to hug me tightly. “I have missed you so much, Kyrie.”

“Me too, but you looked stressed. How have you been these past few days? I’ve missed you so much.” I worriedly asked.

After pulling away from our hug just to examine her more closely, my heart sank a little. Her eyes, usually so bright and full of life, were shadowed by deep, dark circles that spoke volumes about her restless nights. It was clear she hadn’t been sleepi

The questions he had lingered in the space, unspoken but clearly felt, leaving an almost tangible tension.“I made every effort I could to bring you back to me,” he said, his voice strained and full of emotion. “It was a terrible mistake to let you slip away. But how could you let him claim you? How could you let him have you?”His words were fierce, and I could see the anger and frustration in his eyes. His teeth were clenched tightly, and it seemed like he was trying hard to control his feelings. I stood there, taken aback by his words. The fact that he wanted to get me back was a shock. But why? Why did he cheat on me only to want to have me back? His actions and words only confused me. Everything he did seemed to add to the swirling storm of uncertainty inside me. The mattress was soft, but it felt cool against my back.I could feel that most of my clothes were gone. All that remained were my stockings and underwear. Alex's hands were everywhere, exploring my body gently as if he wanted to remember every detail.A soft whine almost escaped my lips as Alex’s lips left mine. His kisses drifted down to my neck, leaving a trail of warmth and pleasure.I could feel the gentle pressure of his touches from the side of my neck, I didn’t bother worrying if he would leave hickeys.Alex pulled away slightly, his gaze locking onto mine with an intensity that made my heart race. He began to slide my stockings down but then paused, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. “For some reason,” he said, his voice low and deliberate, “I want to claim you while you’re still wearing these.”I stared at him, bewildered. “W-What? Valkyrie BehatiDays turned into weeks, and I grew increasingly uncomfortable with Tanya's frequent visits. It was starting to bother me.Tanya had good excuses for her visits. They were all related to work, specifically to the client who was scheduled to have a meeting with Alex. Every time Tanya showed up, she had some business-related reason. She needed to discuss important details, go over plans, or prepare for the upcoming meeting. At first, I tried to brush off my unease. Tanya was doing Alex a favor when it came to the known clients. But as the days went by, her visits became more frequent, and my discomfort grew. It wasn't just the professional aspect that bothered me. There was something else, something I couldn't quite put my finger on.Tanya was different like she was a changed person. I am not sure if it’s a good one. She knew I was marked, yet she was calm. She did not overreact just like what happened when I was marked.I couldn't escape these strange emotions building

Valkyrie BehatiWhen he came back, I sat beside Alex, gently massaging his back, he gave a low grunt of satisfaction. “Ah, that part feels good,” he said, his voice rumbling with relief. I could feel the tension in his muscles, the knots, and the stiffness that had built up over time. He had been complaining about the discomfort for days, and I was determined to help him feel better.I continued to apply steady pressure, my fingers working through the tight spots, seeking out the areas where his body held the most stress. “You have a lot of tension in your back,” I remarked, feeling the knots beneath my fingertips. “If this doesn't get worked out, it'll just make you more tired.”Alex sighed, his breath deep and slow, a sign that the massage was starting to take effect. “What about here?” I asked, pressing gently on his ribcage. I felt a subtle shift as a few of his joints cracked, releasing the built-up tension. His reaction was immediate—a deep, almost primal moan of relief and pl

Valkyrie Behati“You’re making it too dark,” Pierre informed me as I shaded a pair of realistic eyes. The white charcoal pen I was using almost turned black from my mistakes.“Sorry about that, I’m still adjusting to how this pen works,” I admitted before starting over again.Pierre leaned over, his eyes studying my work closely. He was always patient, always ready to offer advice, but I could see the hint of concern in his expression. “Try to go lighter with your strokes,” he suggested gently. “This pen is delicate. It’s easy to go too heavy.”I nodded, taking a deep breath. I let my hand move more lightly across the paper, barely touching it. The charcoal glided smoothly, leaving softer, more controlled lines this time. It felt like learning to draw all over again, but Pierre’s presence was reassuring.“That’s better,” he said, his voice warm with encouragement. “Remember, you can always add more layers, but it’s hard to take them away.”I smiled, feeling a bit more confident. “Tha

The words hit me like a sudden gust of icy wind. I hadn’t anticipated hearing such a direct threat from him, not here, not now, before I even faced him.As I slowly turned around, the sight before me was startling. He looked entirely different from how I remembered. His eyes burned with a dark, unwavering determination that made it clear he was prepared to go to any lengths to have me back even if it meant committing murder. The memory of him—cold, ruthless, and violent—haunted me. I recalled the terror of those moments when he had taken my life, over and over, with a cold detachment that left me feeling utterly powerless. It had been a while since I had been so over

He was dressed in casual clothes that matched mine in color. His gaze was fixed on me, almost as if he was mesmerized.“Just as I thought, blue looks great on you,” Giovanni said, wetting his lower lip as he looked me over from head to toe.I felt a wave of disgust but tried to keep my composure. I wanted to laugh at the thought of how different he was from Alex. Giovanni could never compare to him. The whole car ride was quiet. I kept myself busy scrolling through my phone, trying to distract my thoughts. I was half-expecting to see some news about what had happened between Alex and me, but there was nothin

Three years had slipped away, and sometimes it felt like time had passed in the blink of an eye. Other days, it felt like a lifetime ago. It still amazes me that I somehow managed to escape the cycle of death that once seemed so inevitable. There were moments I had been sure I wouldn’t survive, and yet, I was, standing on the other side, a different person but still whole.I hadn’t heard from Giovanni since everything had ended, despite asking Alex about him more times than I could count. Alex, and even the others, seemed determined to keep the truth from me, perhaps to protect me from any lingering darkness. But I could feel it, deep down—I knew Giovanni had faced the consequences for his actions. Whatever fate had met him, it was just. The silence only confirmed what I already suspected: his suffering had been immense. The cure for the rogues and vampires still hadn’t been found. Some of them, the ones who had been captured, perished in their cells over time. The food they were g

Valkyrie BehatiAfter a long and exhausting week, the city was finally beginning to recover. The damage that had shaken everyone was slowly being repaired, and the streets, once filled with chaos, were now finding their rhythm again. People were astonished when the story of the attack hit the media. It was all over the news—how Giovanni had plotted to take control of the city, how the vampires and rogues had unleashed terror, and, most unexpectedly, how I had stepped in to stop him. The fact that I, carrying Alex’s heir, had been there in the heart of the battle left many speechless. Some called it reckless, while others found it admirable.Even now, as the city heals, I can barely wrap my mind around the fact that it’s truly over. Giovanni’s dark plans have been shattered, and the city is safe—for now. But there’s a sadness that hangs heavy over us all. We lost some of our own, members of the pack who fought bravely to protect us. The losses weigh on me, a reminder that victory o

He was already a monster in every sense of the word.Alex had seen enough. Without hesitation, he lunged toward Giovanni, determined to stop whatever was happening before it was too late. But the moment he got close, Giovanni lashed out, sending Alex stumbling back, clutching his chest in pain. His face twisted in frustration.“He’s much stronger now, love,” Alex warned, his voice strained but urgent. “You need to back away, please.”I shook my head, my resolve solid. “No. This is where I need to be. It all began after the accident at Hotel Grandia. From that moment, he changed. Ruthlessness took over, not just toward his pack and commanders, but to everyone in the city. At the time, I couldn’t understand why, but now, hearing it from Giovanni makes sense. Alex had been drugged.I don't know why I wasn’t affected the same way. Maybe it was pure luck that I only ended up poisoned instead. Still, there are so many unanswered questions swirling in my mind. Why had it come to this? Why had he gone so far as to hunt me down?
