“We’re here.” I heard Giovanni say that made me stop staring towards the motionless scenery outside.

I turned towards him and he was already outside, waiting for me to get out while carrying some of my bags.

Alex would open the door for me. I bitterly smiled before getting out of his car, breathing heavily after seeing that white house.

The trauma and all of the bad things that have happened to me came rushing like a flood inside my mind.
