After my furious screams, a sinister laugh echoed from the distance. I recognized that sound all too well. It sent a shiver down my spine.

Before long, Giovanni emerged from the thick fog. Once sharp and calculating, his eyes were now bloodshot, glowing with an unnatural red hue.

Something about him had changed drastically. He looked... broken, like a man who had tampered with forces beyond his control, and the result was terrifying.

“Ah, finally, the woman I’ve been longing to see,” Giovanni breathed out in a slow, menacing tone, a twisted smile stretching across his face.
