Days turned into weeks, and I grew increasingly uncomfortable with Tanya's frequent visits. It was starting to bother me.

Tanya had good excuses for her visits. They were all related to work, specifically to the client who was scheduled to have a meeting with Alex. Every time Tanya showed up, she had some business-related reason. She needed to discuss important details, go over plans, or prepare for the upcoming meeting.

At first, I tried to brush off my unease. Tanya was doing Alex a favor when it came to the known clients.

But as the days went by, her visits became more frequent, and my discomfort grew. It wasn't just the professional aspect that bothered me. There was something else, something I couldn't quite put my finger on.

Tanya was different like she was a changed person. I am not sure if it’s a good one. She knew I was marked, yet she was calm. She did not overreact just like what happened when I was marked.
