Chapter Fifty Nine - Mine

I was already refreshed and relaxed inside my room. I had been so caught up in getting ready that I forgot to ask Alex where we would sleep together.

Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. With excitement bubbling inside me, I hurried to open the door wide just for him.

“I forgot to ask, but where will we sleep together?” I asked, smiling the moment I saw him.

Alex returned my smile, a warm glint in his eyes. “It could be here, but my bed is bigger. We might be closer to each other in here, though,” he said, his voice soft and inviting.

I thought about it for a moment. “Hm, let’s go to your room then. I prefer bigger spaces so we can be more comfortable,” I said, reaching out to hold his hand. He gently took mine, and together we walked to his room.

When we got there, I paused for a moment, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. The room was filled with his familiar mint and woody scent, a fragrance I had missed so much.
