Elena’s POV

“Rachel, what are you doing here? And how did you know my whereabouts?” I questioned with disbelief.

Rachel's eyes were filled with concern as she approached me. "Elena, I've been looking all over for you," she said, her voice soft and gentle. "I knew something was wrong when I saw Alex and Bonnie together. What happened?" She asked, caressing my face.

I felt a lump form in my throat as I tried to explain, but the words wouldn't come out. Rachel's expression turned from concern to shock as she took in my maid-of-honor dress and the tears streaming down my face.

"Oh my god, Elena. They got married, didn't they?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. I nodded, feeling a fresh wave of tears wash over me.

Rachel pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry, Elena. I warned you about Alex, but you didn't listen. He's a master manipulator, and he's done this to me before."
