Elena’s POV

I sat in my cell, staring blankly at the cold, gray walls. It had been weeks since I was arrested, and I still couldn't believe my fate. I was innocent, but no one seemed to care.

Rachel had visited me every day, trying to keep my spirits up, but even her optimism was starting to wear off. I felt like I was losing myself, trapped in this tiny cell with no hope of escape.
