Elena’s POV

I nodded, feeling a bit frustrated that Daniel didn't answer my question. But I was also grateful for his help, so I let it slide. "Okay, thank you," I said, taking a bite of the sandwich he offered me.

As I ate, Daniel started brainstorming ways to clear my name and take down Kiara and Alex. I listened intently, feeling a sense of hope that I hadn't felt in weeks.

But as we talked, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Daniel was hiding something from me. Why was he so eager to help me? And what did he mean by "revenge"? I pushed the thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand.

We spent the rest of the day coming up with a plan, and by the end of it, I felt a sense of determination that I hadn't felt in months. We were going to take down Kiara and Alex, and I was going to clear my name. No matter what it took.

The next morning, Daniel woke me up early. “We need to get ready, we are going to leave the States tonight”. He informed me.
