Alex's POV

I was back in the battle, my paws were bloody. I could hear wailing around me and some familiar pack members trying to reach out to me crying for help. I had wounds of different claw marks and my fur was stained with my own blood. I tried to transform but my wolf was gone and my body felt heavy.

A Rogue was coming close in an attempt to cut me open with its claws. I tried to call for help but my voice wasn't audible. The wolf came closer and suddenly it transformed into a human form. I was shocked to see Alpha Kane's face, he was in blood rage, his face twisted into pure evil. I woke up with my heart racing, my bedsheets were drenched in sweat.

By morning, we had received the call to gather at the burial ground by nightfall. The message was clear: we had to say our final goodbyes to those who had fallen, especially the four elders who died during the Rogue attack. The pack was quiet, and this ceremony was meant to bring us together, to honor the dead.
