SELENA'S POV

"Are you sure you're fine? I'm very so—"

"That's fine, I understand why they're like that yesterday," he cutted my words, holding my hands while driving.

"Can I ask?" I asked with hesitation, I'm nervous what kind of answer that I'll receive from him.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Why did you that all of a sudden? The courting thing...?"

"It's weird, but I felt that you came back from the past. You're the one that I loved, the person that I've been waiting for, that kind of feeling."

"Came back from past?" I asked while my brows are furrowed.

"Yeah, it sounds ridiculous, right?" he chuckled.

I leaned my head in the window beside me while watching all the vehicles that passing to us. We felt the same thing, since the first time we met, I felt that I know him, he's so familiar but that feeling faded until it gone totally, then it came back again.

It's so hard to understand, but when I forced myself to understand it, my head hurts so much. I sighed and leaned my back in the chair, I looked at Jaxon, it's unpredictable if he's just focused on his driving, or he's also thinking about something.

We reached the company without talking to each other, we're silent until we get in each other's office. I'm drowning in my own thoughts, that's why I can't talk to him properly. Maybe at lunch, I'll talk to him.

I stopped when I saw someone is sitting in my chair. He turned around the chair and smiled when he saw me.

"Selena, long time no see."

"Tyrone."

JAXON'S POV

"Bro, what are going to do now with Kassandra?" Wade asked while playing on his pen. I tapped my table while thinking a possible trap that Kassandra will fall off.

"Perfiana said that Kassandra did that because she's jealous of Selena, right?"

They nod at me, I looked at Haru, smirking, but the idea that came to my mind will surely hurt me. I bit my lower lip and bury my head in the table.

"Why did you look at me and bury your head there all of a sudden?"

"Haru, can you promise that after this, you'll not get close to Selena, again?" I requested, my head is still in the table. I need to do this, for Carryl, Maxine and Selena.

"What do you mean?"

I looked up and washed my face using my hand. I stared at them for a couple of minutes before I speak, "We're going to send a video of you and Selena are kissing each other to Kassandra. She'll surely run here and that's the time that we're going to corner her."

They looked at each other and sighed, they nod at me and I called Selena to explain what we were going to do.

[Are you sure?]

"Yes, we have no choice but to do this."

[Alright, I'm coming/ Who are you talking with?]

My forehead creased when I heard a man's voice in her line. Who is he?

"Are you with someone right now?"

She hung up the phone instead, I slowly put my phone on the table while thinking who could it be.

"Let's start?" Selena suddenly appeared in the door. I looked at her, she looks like she's not in the mood, it has a black aura on her.

"Are you sure you're fine with this?"

"I already said yes, don't ask me the same question repeatedly."

"Who?" I asked her.

We heard Kassandra's scream outside my office. I looked at Selena that is now sitting in my table.

"I'll get her to jail on my own, I just need to talk to her," Haru said and dragged Kassandra out of the office, Wade followed them. I sat down in the sofa while thinking what Kassandra just said and Haru's action.

"You should join us. I know you're good at business," he teased. I rolled my eyes and sat on the sofa, crossing my arms while looking at him.

"So, can I know who you are first?"

Tyrone stood up and stretched his arm for the handshake, but Jaxon didn't do the same, I don't know if he doesn't like Tyrone or because of what we did earlier.

Tyrone moved back his hand, cleared his throat and sit on his chair to avoid the surrounding awkwardness.

"I'm Tyrone Doculvich, son of Paul Doculvich. My father asked to get here to propose you our business plans and information about the AI technology that we want to be part of your company." He explained.

Jaxon stood up and walked to the door, "Let's talk it in the conference room to make it more comfortable."

Tyrone nodded and winked at me, I rolled my eyes on him and followed them. My phone suddenly rang and Mr. Klein's number is flashed in the screen.

"Hello, Mr. Klein?"

[Can I ask if Jaxon is there?]

"Yes, he's actually going to have a sudden meeting with Tyrone Doculvich."

"They're actually preparing now the presentation."

"You can start the meeting now."

"Why not? Mr. Klein is one of the investors of this company so practically, he has rights to know where his money will go. Who knows? Maybe once we agreed about your proposal, we will go to be fraud," I said while looking directly at him.

He nods his head and tapping his fingers in the table. He does that every time he is scared or nervous, I wonder why he's so scared that Mr. Klein is here.

"Uh, Selena, can you get my laptop at my office?" Jaxon asked, I nod at him and walked out to the conference room.

I searched where his laptop can be, pushing and pulling the drawers. I stopped when I saw familiar faces in the family picture that I saw in one of his drawers.
