APOLOGIZE

RAVEN’s POV.

As Fenrir stood at my doorstep, his gaze met mine. I felt a shiver run down my spine, but I tried to maintain my composure, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of seeing me worried or anxious. "Raven, I need to talk to you," he said, his voice low and serious.

I nodded, stepping aside to let him in, my heart racing in my chest. What did he want to talk to me about? Had he finally discovered my secret? I pushed the thoughts aside and gestured for him to enter. "Of course, Alpha Fenrir. What's on your mind?"

He entered my room, his eyes scanning the room as if searching for answers or clues that would sell me out to him.

Finally, his gaze darted back to me, and I felt goosebumps spread throughout my skin. "I owe you an apology, Raven," he said, his voice low.

“An apology for what my alpha?” I asked, feigning surprise and ignorance.
