THE MASTER PLAN: PHASE ONE.

Raven’s point of view.

After the first sunrise, I bid farewell to Ryker and Blaise and embarked on a journey to Fenrir’s territory.

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours. Soon I approached the border of Alpha Fenrir’s territory.

I saw a wolf, walking along the border and my heart jumped to my throat. Taking a deep breath, I gathered my thoughts and maintained my composure, I held my head high and I approached the wolf with my heart pounding in my chest.

I stepped my feet into Fenrir’s territory and the wolf turned around, his eyes blazing with fury. “Who dares step into my territory without my permission? Does that person have a death wish?”

I gulped, as I recognized the wolf in front of me. This was none other than the greatest alpha in the whole of the lands, Alpha Fenrir.

His voice was deep, and it resonated with power and authority, making me feel insignificant.

I cowered in heat and bowed my head in a submissive manner. “A lone wolf, my Alpha. A lone wolf who was sent out of her previous pack. A lone wolf who seeks shelter in your pack and promises to serve you to her last breath.” I said, my voice trembling against my wish.

“A lone wolf who was sent out of her pack? You do seem injured and weak. Why were you sent out of your pack?” Fenrir asked his face on me.

I trembled under his gaze. “My alpha wanted me as a mate, but I know I deserve better.”

“And who is this alpha?” Fenrir asked.

“Alpha Marcus of Shadow Moon pack.” I trembled, hoping my lies would not get me in trouble.

“Even though he is a weak one, I must say, you played with death by doing that,” Fenrir said.

I lifted my face, my eyes meeting his. “I am a wolf who can not be forced into doing something she does not like or accept.”

A smile curled on Fenrir’s lips. “Brave indeed. But what would your bravery add to my pack? What if your bravery makes you lose your life in my hands.?” He asked, his voice low and dangerous.

“I would rather die in the hands of a real man, a man of his words, a real warrior than die in the hands of a pathetic excuse like Marcus,” I said. “And my bravery would add a lot to your pack. I am willing to serve you till my last breath.”

“Serve me? To last your last breath you say?” Fenrir asked, his gaze hard and cold. “Do not lie to me or try to trick me. I hate lies and detest liars.”

“Yes, alpha. I will serve you till my last breath. I will use my bravery and spy on your enemies. I will be your ears and eyes in their packs, bringing every little detail about them to your foot. I would be your most powerful and dangerous weapon, a weapon that is hidden in plain sight.” I said.

“I like your way with words. You seem like a wise and determined wolf, you please me,” Fenrir said. “ but words are like the wind, they go and come. I will need you to prove your worth to me, and prove your loyalty to me.”

“How do I do that my alpha? I am willing and ready to do anything to prove my loyalty to you. I will hand you enemy secrets in exchange for my life and your security.” I said.

“Come with me.” He said and walked further into his territory.

For some reason, I could not bring myself to be relieved or even smile. Fenrir was a very dangerous and cunning man, I should be on guard always.

I followed Fenrir and all of a sudden he stopped right in his tracks.

“Alpha Ryker,” He said and turned around to face me. “Does that name sound familiar? Does it ring a bell?”

I gulped, I could feel the sweat on my palm.

“Yes, He is the Alpha of Blood Moon Pack,” I said, forcing myself to sound angry.

“Is that anger in your voice?” Fenrir asked, his lips curling up into a smirk.

“Yes,” I replied and I looked away. “It is anger.”

“Hm, that is interesting. And if I may ask, why are you angry?” Fenrir asked.

“He is a rogue, he kept attacking my former pack and I lost my sister in his hands,” I said, gritting my teeth.

“Oh, I apologize for your loss then,” Fenrir said.

I felt a weird feeling inside of me. All I know, Fenrir was a cold and ruthless killer. He is the most feared and powerful alpha in the whole of the land. And now, he is apologizing to me?

   Why is that?

But something in me warned me to be careful, beneath his handsome face and kind words lies a cold-blooded killer.

This could all be a plan, and I knew for a fact that he did not trust me one bit. He could be planning to melt me with his words, and then at the right time, he would strike.

I clenched my jaw and looked at him.

“Thank you, Fenrir. Now let us get down to business, how do I prove my loyalty and earn your trust?” I asked, my voice filled with determination.

“I will assign you a task, and if you carry out this task to my heart's content, I will accept you into my pack and accept you as one of my own. But if you try to double-cross me or play smart, I will feed you to the wild wolves and make sure your remaining family members watch you as you cry out for help while getting devoured,” Fenrir said. “All you have to do is become my eyes and ears in Ryker’s pack, bring his secrets to my feet.”

I froze, the two most powerful alphas in the land wanted me to be their spy.

  Isn’t this an interesting twist?
