THREAT.

Raven’s POV.

I paced back and forth in my room, my mind racing with thoughts of Ryker and the mysterious meeting. I had tried everything to get in touch with him during the day, but he was nowhere to be found. And now, with the meeting just hours away, I was starting to panic.

"What am I going to do?" I whispered to myself. I stopped pacing and looked around my room as if the solution would pop out, but there was none.

The voice in my head was quick to respond. "You're going to go to the meeting, Raven. You have to know who this person is and what they want." I

"But what if it's a trap?" I argued, my mind racing with fear. "What if Fenrir is behind this?" I thought about all the ways this could go wrong, all the ways I could be caught. All the ways Fenrir could choose to kill me.

The voice sneered. "You're not going to let fear control you, are you? You're a wolf, Raven. You're supposed to be brave." It was right, of course. I was a wolf. I was supposed to be strong.

I stopped pacing
