A DAUGHTER’S SACRIFICE.

Raven’s point of view.

“What do you mean by that?” I snapped at Ryker.

Ryker only glared at me and turned his attention to the group of girls.

“That one makes them five.” He said, his eyes blazing with fury.

I scoffed. “What a pathetic Alpha, you are scared of him? He is a man like you.”

I felt a sting on my left cheek. My lips curled up into a sneer. “So much anger, so much power. I have a question for you Ryker. Why waste it hitting a woman? Why don’t you declare war on him? If you are man enough fight him and put an end to your people’s suffering. Or are you scared?”

“Scared?” Ryker asked, his tone filled with sarcasm. “If I was scared, I would not have walked into your father’s territory and snatched you right under his nose.”

   “Keep my father out of this you B A S T A R D!” I yelled at him.

Ryker held my jaw, his grip tightened around my jaw and I felt like he would snap it anytime soon.

“Listen to me, if you keep running your mouth I will make sure I give you your father’s head, as your next birthday present!” Ryker growled at me, his hot breath on my face.

“Really? Do you want to give me my father’s head as my next birthday present? What makes you so sure you will be alive by that time? If my information is correct, He is coming for you , and we both know a coward like you stands no chance against him.” I mocked, rubbing salt to his injuries.

“Strip her and hold her down.” Ryker ordered, his hands on his pant’s zipper.

   “Do not touch me you filthy B A S T A R D.” I snapped at the guards.

“Oh, Ryker. It seems you do not have any strength left in you. You always bring your member out and use that to shut girls up. But let me point something out for you. I will never breed pups for you or him!”

“Really? Then maybe I should make you do something else.” Ryker answered, his lips curling up into a smirk.

“What are you talking about?” I asked in confusion.

Alpha Ryker leaned in close, his lips almost brushing against my lips.”I have a proposal for you, Raven. One that will spare you the fate of a breeder, and spare the life of your father, mother, brother and sisters. Perhaps, it may even allow you to regain your freedom. Only if you do as I say.”

My blood ran cold. The man in front of me was a ruthless man, I had only mocked him hoping he would ask that I be set free. I hoped to knock him out with my martial art skills.

But now, he brought up my family, I knew he was not a man to be trifled with.

“What do you want? And why should I do it?” I asked.

“That is because you are a brave wolf, and you love your family too much to lose them all in one day.” Ryker said, his lips brushing against mine.

“What do you want from me?” I asked, my heart pounding in my chest.

“Your cooperation in my plan to overthrow, Fenrir.” Ryker said, his eyes cold and hard.

I burst into laughter. “ you? You want to overthrow Fenrir? The alpha Fenrir?”

“Stop laughing!” Ryker roared, his voice echoing throughout the room.

I stopped laughing. “You want to overthrow Fenrir? The same man who can snap your neck in an instant?”

Alpha Ryker’s jaw clenched. “You are going to do as I say, and you will be my weapon against him.”

I narrowed my eyes. “You want me to help you take down Fenrir? What plan do you have?”

“I want you to help me. All you have to do is obey my simple instructions and soon, you will be a free wolf.” Ryker answered.

“You want me to become a traitor?” I asked in disbelief.

“Not traitor, an ally. You will work with me in this. You will infiltrate Fenrir’s kingdom and find out everything about him, his strengths and his weaknesses.” Ryker said, moving away from me.

“Take them away.” He ordered and the guards dragged the five girls out of the room.

“And if I refuse to help you? What will happen?” I asked him, defiance flashing in my eyes.

“If you refuse to help me, then I have no choice but to sit idly and watch Fenrir kill your parents.” Ryker said, his time casual.

My heart skipped a beat. “Kill... my parents?” I stuttered.

“Exactly. Your father’s pack is in danger. Our intelligent sources tell us that he is planning to wage a war against your father’s pack. You and I know that your father can not fight off Fenrir alone. Your father’s pack is the weakest of the four packs.” Ryker said, spitting nothing but facts.

My jaw clenched. “Why would I be so sure , you are a lair Ryker. You are very cunning and manipulative. I can not place all my eggs in one basket by trusting you.

“You do not trust me? Maybe you can trust your father then. This is a scroll from your father to Fenrir, willing to submit under his feet.” Ryker said and handed me a scroll.

A guard loosened the rope that tipped my hand. With shaky hands, I took the scroll, my eyes working wide in shock as I read every word.

The signature was my father’s, no doubt about that.

“Now do you believe me? Will you work with me and help me save my pack and your father’s from Fenrir. Or will you watch me send you to his pack, to become one of his breeders, whilst he humiliated your father?” Ryker asked.

My fingers curled into fists, and anger coursed through my body.

“Do we have a deal?” Ryker said and extended his hand.
