The Council Chambers

Malina POV 

"Sophia Hale, what is the meaning of your new post?, I clearly remembered  that I told you to get rid of this social media nonsense, didn't I?". I asked  sophia over the phone as I sat in a cab headed for the council chamber. 

"Well I'm glad there is still something that can draw your attention to make you contact me". She said and I sighed, lookinging at the social post one more time and returned to the call. 

"Why would you say something like that, you know I love you even if  I don't call you, and I happen to know happening around you, your baby just kicked recently right" I asked and she gasped. 

"Liam, that traitor, both of you have been discussing behind my back", she said and I laughed as I listen to her describing how things have been with the baby. 

"Babe you know I love and care for you right". I asked and she scoffed. 

"Well if you love me, you would tell me all your plan and everything that's been going on with you. All I've been hearing is how you've been wiping out rogues" she said and I let out a heavy breath before continuing. 

"I know you are vengeful towards the rogues for killing your parents and you don't belong in a pack, you are using that opportunity to take out the rogues but dont you  think you are playing with fire here", she said and I smiled. 

"Well babe, that's the plan, I need the rogue boss to come after me because no matter how many link I find, I still can't get a hold of him, I feel like I'm running out of time and this rogue boss is like a beach sand that is slipping through my hands no matter how much I figure him out. 

Don't worry sophia, I will be fine, I promise, I have to go now, dont call this number--"

"Yes yes, I know, you  will throw this number away again", she said and I smiled. 

"I love you too, just be safe. Whenever you get any idea to court to court death, remember there is a couple waiting for you back at home in one piece" Sophia said and I ended the call. 

Throwing the sim card out, I inserted the new one and dialed  the number, while waiting for a response and touching the  necklace on my neck.

"Hello, may I know who this is", said the voice from the other side. It didn't sound like the person I wanted to speak to. 

"Hello I would like to speak to Gerald", I asked and a moment of silence occurred from the other side before I heard the voice of the man I wanted to speak to. 

"Hello and who might you be", he said in a rather suspicious tone. 

"Hi Gerald, I'm sure you haven't forgotten my voice, right?", I asked with a smile and there was a moment of silence before he responded. 

"Malina McCall?", he asked with joy. 

"It looks like my beatings have etched deep within your bones, so now you won't forget my voice no matter how long we have been apart", I said with a smile. 

"Where are you Malina" he asked curiously. 

I dont remember how long it has been since I visited the Council chambers. 

I remember the last time I visited, kane and I were still together. Kane and Gerald got into this massive fight, where kane saw Gerald giving me a month to mouth breathing but thought he was trying to kiss me. 

I was madly in love with in love then, so I sided with kane even though Gerald was not at fault. I aw the hurt in his eyes when kane made me say to him that I will never forgive him for trying to kiss him. 

"Malina, are you there?, I am asking where are you", he growled on the phone and I sighed. 

"I'm on my way. On my wah to the council chambers, to you", I said and i heard him take a sharp breath before humming back in response. 

"You miss Malina have a lot of explaining to do, I will wait for you, how long will it take for you to get here?, he asked and I stretched the phone to the driver and asking him the same question. He smiled politely saying In about 40-50 minute before getting there. 

"You heard it yourself", I said and he hummed. 

It looks like this guy is still mad about what happened in the past, I mean who wouldn't, if I we're him, I would have cut me off even though we are related. 

After about an hour drive I got to the council chambers and oh my days, it brought back memories. 

"Thank you driver", I said to the cab driver before paying the fare and was about to moving towards the gate when I felt something strange, closing my eyes momentarily". 

"Boss, do you think its ok to dig this spot?, Are you sure this is the spot where our tools are kept?, you know where we are right", a black guy said. 

"Of course, this is the map given by the top boss. According to the calculation this is the right place, now stop wasting time and dig be fore we get caught", the other guys said as a few more guys came around with what looked like an enormous trunk. 

"Well I'm pretty sure this is a mistake, I used to think the higher ups could never make mistake but look where we at retrieving tools" the black guy argued. 

"Little one listen, it is not a mistake that our boss chose this spot. For the past few month we have always lost our weapons to those mountain wolves and now we have sustained a great loss, now the only way to make sure they don't find us is to hide these weapons where they won't think of checking" the other guy said. 

Opening my eyes abruptly before sighing, I looked at the watch and it was exactly 45 seconds. The time of the vision has decreased and I don't feel weak like last time after seeing the vision. I'm sure a time will come where I will be eating or having a chat and then a vision will just come in. 

"You there, girl in black, what are you doing there?", a security guard shouted at me and I looked at him and then it came to me that this is the best way to make the council guard visit their backyards, I thought smiling. 

"What am I doing here?, I'm here to piss you off", I said before showing him my middle finger and throwing my dagger at his feet making him growl. 

"Guys!, There is a hooligan she-wolf over here", he said and I chuckled at the way he described me before running to the backyard.
