I Hate Lycans

Malina POV 

"What exactly do you want with Alven?", The guy in front asked me and I smiled. 

"Like I said before, i just want to have a tiny little chat with him and just like I said before if you give the information I need about alven, I will let you walk out of here alive, it just that all these illegal tools will be confiscated and I'm sure your life is worth more than this things". I sad and the other guys looked at him confused. 

"Look I don't have all the time in the world, I'm pretty bored my self after tagging with you guys for this long. So let's not waste each other time and get this done with". I said to persuade him and he gave me an awkward look. 

I'm pretty sure he's communicating with the other members, recently found out rouges formed their own pack, making it possible to communicate through a mind link, and as weird as it sounds, its pretty stupid for rogues to be in a pack, as rouges they are suppose to live freely. 

"I asked my team and they updated me that Alven didn't cone today, he wasn't part of today's plan. I'm pretty sure the person who told you he was coming today was just tricking you. Seems your dead informant played one last trick on you". He said  and I shrugged. 

"Well if that's what y'all have chosen then there's no point stressing over it. I'm pretty sure the news about a she-wolf looking for Alven would have spread among you rouges like wild fire. Even if I didn't lay my hands on Alven, I'm sure this will get t the rouges head so basically half my work is done. Now since you people have refused to work things out like civilized people, I guess its time you pay a permanent visit to your creator", I said and signal to Gerald and the Lycan king who was already itching to end the rogues. 

Once I gave the signal, a loud howl echoed throughout the forest, signalling the other teams to battle. 

Watching these teams fight off  the rogues, I would be lying if I said I wasn't impressed. 

Seeing how the Lycan king fought the rogues was truly amazing, killing each one of them with a single blow, he was wiping them out like he was cleaning the forest ground off dirt. 

Then again, I don't thing I've ever seen anyone fight like this and I've never seen a king fight before. In a blink of an eye, he took out more than 10 rogues while I leaned on a tree and watch them do the work. 

I could have gone through the hard work and help them kill the rogues but I was not in the mood to move my body and besides I helped with the information and location, so they should handle the rest. 

'Well, you came here because of the vision and they are the one helping you without prior knowledge of your vision ability, in other words you could have come here alone and do all this hardwork alone', Ashley said disrupting my thought. 

"King Peter!", I suddenly shouted as I saw a rouge threw a dagger at him before rushing to protect him. 

Before the dagger could hit him, I stopped it as it pierced my hand and dug deep into my skin. 

"Malina!, are you alright?", Gerald asked from a distance and I showed a thumbs up that I was okay. 

"Mal, How dare you-", King Peter angrily moved and started killing the rogue mercilessly. Its like a new version awoke in him the moment he saw me bleed. 

Seeing his brown eyes darkening as the gold tint took over, I knew his wolf was trying to take over and it almost happened but he controlled it. Its no grand news how dangerous a Lycan can be against wolves talkless of a Lycan king. 

"Mr Peter, I think you should control your action or you won't be able to distinguish between good and bad and you won't like the result of that mistake", I said as I held his hands and he stopped abruptly before sending a rogue flying Into a tree. 

Admiring his strength as he threw the rogue, I turned around and was met with a face with heavy emotions that was hard to decipher before massaging the back of it. 

"Mal, why did you risk your life like this?. What if you had missed and it had gone through your shoulder or worse your chest?, do you know how dangerous that would be?", he asked before pressing his lips in a thin line. 

"I live in the forest, dude. Do you think I don't know what is dangerous and what is not. Would you have loved it if it went through your head?", I asked and scoffed before walking away not liking the way his concerned eyes were making my heart fluster. 

"Mal, are you okay?", Gerald asked before taking out a handkerchief to wrap the wound, making me smile at him. 

"I'm okay, don't worry. They laced it with wolfsbane not silver, so it will take some time to heal". I said and he nodded before looking behind me. 

"All the rogues are almost dead. We don't have to do anything here again, let's go and take care of you", Gerald said and picked me up bridal style making me squeak, I didnt expect that from him. 

"What the hell are you doing, I can walk by myself", I said and he chuckled before flaring his tongue at me. 

"I was about to bite his shoulder so he would drop me but before I could do that, king peter came from nowhere and grabbed me from Gerald, leaving both of us confused. 

"What are you doing, Mr. Peter?", I asked, making Gerald nod in union for he has the same question and he just sighed. 

"Since its because of me you  had that injury, them its my responsibility to make sure you get to the chamber safe and less stressed". He said before holding me tighter  and I looked at both men the men before rolling my eyes. 

"Are both of you stupid or something?, tell me when in history a wound on the hand rendered someone incapable of walking?. I get both of you are strong and want to display your masculinity but do that somewhere else". I said and he held me tighter. 

Wait. Isn't he suppose to let go of me and not tighten his hold?, what the hell is wrong with him. 

"I am a responsible man and I know how to take care of my duties", king peter said and I sighed and not lean on his body inappropriately. 

It looks like its a waste of time to sat anything to him now, he's so adamant and think of it, why should I stress myself in this injured state?. I thought as I shrugged inwardly. 

"Gerald, did you inform uncle Francis" I asked Gerald and he hummed in reply with a smile on his face. 

"I got a ping from dad, he wanted to know how the mission went and that I took care of the ammunition we confisticated from the rogues at the lake. You guys can go to the council now, you guys already helped too much, even though it wasn't either of your work", Gerald said and the king exchanged a few words with him about the team I was less interested in before moving towards the exit of the forest. 

"Why don't you tell me about yourself Malina, its gonna be a long walk" The king said and I shrugged. 

"That's just wasting time, just call your driver to bring the car here. I mean we have nothing to be afraid of anymore",  i said and he sighed. 

"I know you don't like me, right?", he suddenly asked. 

"Its not about you, I had a bad experience with mountain wolves when I was young and I just fucking hate them. They are all so arrogant and ignorant. We all know your kind are more powerful than werewolves but it won't be wrong to say your kind don't waste any opportunity to remind us". I explained. 

"My kind?, mountain wolves?, we are practically lycans, just refer to us as Lycans" he said and I sighed. 

"Even you are no different and neither is subordinate, he told me to bow before him because he's a Lycan. As far as I know respect is gained and not forced", I said and he hummed. 

"Can you tell me why you hate lycans so much, what did lycans possibly do to you?".  He asked. 

"Its not something I can go around telling everyone, especially people I don't trust and you don't even believe that I'm helping the council out of my own good thinking I'm part of the rogues, who is with your with some ulterior motives" I said and he pauses and looked at me, making me smile. 

"I know you still doubt me, I can see it between the lines and expression. You have suspected me from the moment you laid you eyes on me, the angry look, confused look and those weird look you make when we interact can't be ignored, either", I said before jumping out his hands. 

"I also know you dont take part in this bloody mission, the only reason you are here is because you want to see me lose to you. You wanted to see why the council praised me so much, you wanted to know if I was a mole who has come to destroy your plans and leak your secret to the council", I said and he just stood there looking at me. 

"Look, im not going to say all you said is wrong, its not. The original plan was to catch you red  handed 

and the Idea thrilled me. I wanted to know how you've got so much information and accuracy. Indeed I suspected you", he said looking me straight in the eyes. 

"That's what I'm saying. You can stop behaving like someone that cares because I know lycans won't bat an eye before throwing is werewolves into flame to save themselves". I said and the aura around him changed 

"Do you think this rogues are only our problem?, they are also your key problem too. We want to live in peace with you werewolves but it seem the inferiority complex has gotten deep inside your bones and heads. You won't see the good in us even if we give it our all", He said before scoffing and putting his hand around my neck forcing me to look at him. 

"Why do I even bother explain this things to you?. You know what, yes we Lycans are rude and yea we only take advice from the king himself and don't mess with us. Get a leash on that big mouth of yours because if I do nothing, a Lycan out there will end up killing you because of your sharp tongue", he said and I walked ahead and I chuckled darkly. 

He says this things as if I'm lying and not saying the truth about them. How can I possibly forget how my mom died because of a Lycan refused to help her. How can I forget she died because a Lycan turned his back and left her in the midst of rogues and saved himself?. Lycans might be saviour to others but to me they are just the one who took my mom away. 

So much for a thank you for saving my life. Arrogant B*stard. 

I growled and dropped down to my knees as the wolfsbane in my wound has taken too long to heal and its making me weak. 

I guess I have to increase my intake of wolfsbane day by day to make myself immune. This one spoon dose is  not helping. 

Just one dagger shot and I look this pathetic. I will have to train harder and make my self invincible. How will I fight the rogues head and find out about the mastermind if I'm this weak?. I thought. 

Turning around,  I was about to take support from a tree and noticed king peter coming back in long strides and before I could say any thing or push him away, he picked me up and did something I didn't expect. 

He kissed me!. The jerk kissed me!.
