Calling Out To Alven

Malina POV 

"That's great, looks like my presence is improving you IQ, uncle Francis would be so proud of you", I said to Gerald who smiled before roughing up my hair making me scowl. 

I looked back at our king who stood there with a scowl on his face and for some reason it  made me smile.

Looking closer at him, he's actually cute.  He's like a child who doesn't want to admit his mistake and shortcomings but know when to be adamant and when to give up. 

"King Peter, are you following?, or are you going to stand there and scowl like I stole your glamour?", I asked and he scoffed. 

"Who is following you?, I'm just following the plan", he said and I chuckled inside before walking ahead. 

Yea he can say all he want to say and believe what he want to as long as he's not growling and grumbling like earlier. 

After waiting for what felt like an eternity, the rogues finally arrived, and it won't be wrong to say that I saw most of what I'm seeing is my vision but still it exceeds it. 

"Gerald-", I started as I saw him walking close to a rogue. However before I could finish what I WS about to say, King Peter closed my mouth with his hands and pulled me behind the tree he was standing at, making me bump into his chest as I looked at him confused. 

Turning around, I noticed 4 rogues coming out of nowhere and looked behind the tree I was standing at and it looks like they were suspicious someone was there. 

Letting out a sigh of relief that I wasn't caught by the rogues and ruining the plan, I looked back at the king and  realizing how close his face was to mine while he focused on the rogues. 

Looking at his serious expression as he focused his eyes on the movement of the rogues back and forth and his chiseled jaw appearing sharper from up close. I couldn't help but feel this powerful urge to touch it. He's well sculptured face with his light brown eyes and brown hair along with his body time was something I could define as my type and I hate to break it but he is actually cute. 

"If you are going to keep looking at me like this, I can't help but think you like me", he whispered and his hot breathe fawned my face as he looked looked in my eyes, and I gulped before looking away. 

"I was just checking to see if narcissism had a face and if it will look like yours or not", I said to cover up my action earlier and the loopside smile he gave me made me grit my teeth. 

I looked back at the position where I was standing before freeing my self from the Lycan king grip. 

"Let's go", I said to him, and he nodded his head before tucking my hair behind my ear. 

"Let's not get hurt out there, okay?", he said to me in a coaxing manner before moving ahead and I stood there confused as hell. 

Wait. Does this guy have some kind of wierd mood swings?, one moment he cares about my well being the next moment he's the jerk of the year, as if I am his sworn enemy. I thought before shaking my head. 

Once getting the green signal from the other teams, we both started taking out the rogues, rendering them unconscious and hiding them behind the tree as we got closer to the main area where the trunks are being pulled out of the lake. 

"Gerald behind you", I mind linked him as two rouges were approaching him from behind. 

Hitting their heads, he hid them behind a tree like the others before showing me a thumbs up. 

Nodding my head, I looked ahead and ready to execute the main reason I was here. 

Helping the council was just a facade I was using to get close to my target, although I wanted to help them get the ammunition, this wasn't exactly the reason I was helping them for. 

This is the only way I could get closer to Alven and I'm not losing this chance. 

"Malina what are you doing", Gerald suddenly shouted and I shook my head at him before coming out from my hiding spot into the main area, making 8 rogues stop what they were doing and growled at me. 

I stood in front of the 8 rogues and watched them carefully in search for a particular rogue. 

"Gerald, what the hell is she doing?, she's the one who said we should do things quietly and not hurt anyone but she's the one breaking the rule, talk to her since you know her better than I do. If this is what she was planning, why would I a king hide like a coward". I heard our king say and I sighed. 

"Looks like I will not waste time here, and will go straight to the point. Where is Alven, if you tell me where alven is, I promise to let you guy leave here alive but if you don't I will skin you alive, the choice is yours", I said to the rogues and the guy in the middle stood straight and looking at me calmly. 

"Alven?, How do you know our heads name and why do you want to meet him. What's your purpose?", he asked me. 

"I need to meet alven because I heard he is one of the team leader personally selected by the rogues head. Don't tell me its a lie because dying people don't lie. I know he's here or is out to come here, so just tell me who he is and I will leave". I said before pausing. 

"The council spies have surrounded you guys from all side, so the only key to saving you lot is standing before you. Bring me Alven and I will let you leave", I said and he looked at me suspiciously. 

"Malina, how can you negotiate with them while exposing our plans?, we didn't talk about this. This is not about the council alone, the lycans are involved too", Gerald said through the walkie talkie on me. 

"Are you kidding me, you are on a call while talking to us, is this some kind of trap to have us cornered?. I won't tell you who he is or where he is, you are free to do what you want", he said and the other rogues growled. 

It looks like I have no choice but to call him out my self. 

"Alven!", I growled angrily in the air. 

"Alven if you don't come out t the count of three, I will make sure the white wolf kills your unborn baby and mate". I shouted and the rogues looked at me with shock. 

"How do you know about his unborn baby and mate?, how do you know so much inside information about us?", He asked me and I smirked. 

"Did you really think I came with half of the i information?, so now are you going to tell me about alven or waste me time?", I asked and he gulped looking confused as  to what to do. 

I just hope he gives in soon so that I can save everyone some time. I know I have a lot of explanation to do after this but I don't mind as long as I get this guy. I can always use him as bait and as a source of information and trade his information for forgiveness for today's incident.
