Chapter 183

“What do you want from me?” She asked, and her voice trembled.

“Are you married?” Mr. Williams asked.

“Yes, I am. Do you want me to wait for you for eternity?” she asked.

“I am sorry for what happened, Anna. I was young and stupid. I didn't know what I was doing. I thought my parents wanted the best for me, but my life got ruined instead. I looked for you everywhere, but I heard you moved out of the country,” he explained.

Anna broke down and began to sob. Her body shook while she sobbed. Williams sat upright and held her in his hands. “I got a scholarship. I had to travel to Korea to further my education to become a nurse.”

After a few minutes, she was calm, and Williams gathered the courage to speak, “And the child? The last time you told me you were pregnant,” he spoke.

“What do you mean?” She asked, narrowing her eyes and fixing her gaze on him.

“You said you were pregnant for me,” he spoke.

Anna was confused, and she narrowed her eyes. “Where is Elena?” she asked.

Williams narrowed his eyes, and he gave her a questioning look. “You know Elena?” he asked.

She sniffed and wiped her eyes. “I gave birth to Elena, and when I couldn't cater for her, so I dropped her at your front door,” she confessed.

Williams heart slammed hard against his chest, and his mouth was wide open. “What?” he asked.

Anna nodded her head. “Elena is your daughter.” She spoke, and tears streamed down her eyes.

Williams heart kept pounding hard. He didn't know what to say to Anna. How would he tell her that he doesn't know about Elena’s whereabouts and that he has not set his eyes on her for the past 5 years?

How does he explain to her that his life was shattered and became a living hell?

“Elena is my daughter?” he asked. “She is my blood?”

Anna nodded. “Yes, she is,” she said.

Immediately, tears dropped from Williams eyes, and Anna wiped his tears. Their eyes were loved on each other, and they both leaned in.

Williams brushed his lips softly on Anna, and they kissed intensely.

Immediately, the door was swung open, and Emily walked into the room. She was stunned to see what was in front of her. Williams kissing another woman.

“Williams?” she shouted.

They didn't know what to do. They just fixed their eyes on Emily.

“You have been acting like a nurse only to seduce my husband,” she shouted.

Anna stood up, and Emily pulled Anna by the hair, and her sleek bun loosened and fell on her shoulder. Emily’s eyes widened when she looked at Anna.

She narrowed her eyes and pointed at Anna. “Anna?” she called.

Anna walked up to her. “Yes, it is me. Remember me now? Do you remember how you took away everything from your best friend because of your selfishness? You are a scumbag, Emily.” Anna voiced out.

Emily stretched out her hands and tried to hit Anna on the cheeks when her hands were held by someone else.

“Not here,” Elena spoke as they turned to look at Elena.

Emily’s eyes widened as she turned to see Elena. She became scared and ran to the other side of the room.

“You are alive?” she asked.

“Yes, do you want me dead?” she asked. “You must be surprised, but you should know that you are going to pay for your crimes,” Elena spoke.

Immediately she heard her name, “Elena?” Anna called. Tears filled her eyes, and she stared at Elena. She walked up to her and wrapped her arms around her.

“My Elena, my baby,” she spoke.

Elena slowly pulled away; she looked at Anna strangely. She noticed her long brown hair and could see her pale skin. Her eyes were red and puffy.

“I am so sorry, my love. I shouldn't have left you,” she said.

Elena turned to Williams as she screeched her brows. “Who is a woman, and what is she talking about? she asked.

Williams watched them. tears rolled down his cheeks. “Elena. My Elena. I am sorry. I had no idea. I thought you were not mine,” Williams cried.

Elena’s facial expression was unreadable, and she was filled with confusion. She pulled away from Ann and walked to Williams.

“What are you talking about?” she asked.

“Elena, you are my biological daughter, and this woman right there is your mother,” he confessed.
