Sarah had been very busy making arrangements for the wedding, and her mother made sure that everything was in place. Everything was perfect until she realised that she had one more job to do.
After a long drive, almost at the outskirts of Los Angeles, she walked into a dark underground building and stood there for a while. A man walked out of a room with a stick of cigarettes in his hands.
Sarah smirked, and she laughed at the same time. “Long time no see, black wolf."
“Sarah, it's been a long time. I have been seeing you all over the blogs. You are indeed a smart woman. That's the goal,” he said, dragging his cigarette.
Sarah giggled and gave him a tight hug. “It's been a while. I've got a job for you,” she whispered in his ears. She pulled away, and they both walked into the dark underground with so many bodyguards guarding the place and tonnes of ammunition arranged on the wall.
Sarah looked around, scanning the whole room, and smiling. It's been a long time since she visited here, and she remembered how she would always admire the guns on the wall every time she was there.
“Here, have this,” he turned around and handed the glass of whisky over to Sarah.
“You shouldn't bother about that right now. I have more important things to focus on,” she spoke.
The black wolf stared at her and let out a mysterious chuckle. “You never reject a drink. For you to do so, you must be pregnant for the billionaire,” he spoke.
Sarah smirked and crossed her hands on her chest. “You know me too well, black wolf,” she spoke. “Cheers, now let's get down to business."
“Anything for you, my lady,” he responded and puffed his cigarette as he gulped down the glass of whisky.
Sarah leaned in. “This is a very difficult task, and I need you to do it without leaving anyone behind. It needs to be done in two days' time before my wedding ceremony,” she explained.
“Consider it done, as long as you are willing to pay up the complete cash. You know money speaks,” the black wolf responded.
She opened her purse and reached for her phone. She scrolled through her photos and sent two photos to the black wolf.
His phone buzzed with a notification, and he opened it. “Who are these people? And what do you want me to do for you?” he asked
.
“The guy there is my ex-boyfriend, Zane; the other girl there is my maid. I need you to do a clean job and eliminate them before Saturday morning,” she ordered.
Black Wolf smiled, “You have nothing to worry about.”
“I just sent some money. It should be enough for the job,” she said and stood up to leave. “I have to go now before it becomes suspicious,” she said.
“I hate to do this, Marina, but this is the end of you. Nobody messes with Sarah,” she said.

Earlier today
Sarah got into her car after having lunch with her friends. In the afternoon, Nicklaus rushed out of the garden when he received an important call when they were together.
They all looked at her and wished they were Sarah, and she felt on top of the world. They giggled and talked about the latest gossip.
Sarah was about to reach for her lipstick from her purse when it fell on the driver's seat.
“Fucking lipstick,” she cussed and leaned in to pick it up when she noticed something under her chair. She narrowed her eyes and reached for it.
She discovered that it was a tiny recorder after taking a closer look at it. Immediately, she turned on her engine and drove to her old friend's crib.
She disconnected the recorder and walked into his office. “Remember the stalker we have been trying to identify? She asked.
“Trace this camera. I believe it had something to do with that bitch. I won't leave here until you find me something,” she spoke in anger and dropped the recorder on the table.
Immediately, they started to trace the tracker number and the recorder. After a few hours of doing the research, the name and identity card of the stalker finally showed up.
“Sarah, we have found it.”
Sarah quickly rose from her seat and walked to the other side of the desk as she faced the computer screen.
She looked at the image closely, and her heart slammed hard against her chest.
“Marina?”
“Do you know her?” The man asked,
“She is my maid.”
Sarah recalled the fight she had previously with the girl in the woods. She remembered how she shouted as she hit her with a wood on her head, and she could remember the voice.
“It all makes sense now. So it's been you all these while, Marina. Who would have thought that you are the devil?” She spoke out loud with a calculative look on her face.
Sarah drove back home that evening, and she forced a calm smile on her face even though she was boiling inside.
She quietly locked the door and bolted it. Making sure that nobody mistakenly storms into the room.
She was making sure that there wasn't any foreign device in her room. She walked around as she scanned, and she heard a beeping sound under the rug.
She reached for it and took out a recorder. It was the same recorder that she saw in her car with the same serial number.
she quickly threw it to the ground and scattered it into pieces with her heels.
“Marina, you just used your hands to do your own grave.”
“I'm not sorry. I will make sure you don't live to see my wedding day. You may want to ruin it, and I will ruin you before then.”
Sarah walked into the mansion with a broad smile on her face. She knew that she had already accomplished her mission.Marina walked outside to the hallways to welcome Sarah, and she couldn't stop staring at Sarah as she smiled throughout. She wanted to know what it was that was making Sarah happy. When she was done attending to Sarah and preparing her bathtub, she walked into her room and put on her earbuds, in a hurry to listen to Sarah’s conversations. She operated it from her mobile phone to listen to Sarah’s recordings for the day, but she discovered nothing. It turned out that the recorder was blank. She narrowed her eyes and decided to try the recorder in Sarah’s room, and it was still blank. She wondered if it was the signal. She quickly walked into Sarah’s room but discovered that the door was locked. She tried to act normal, but her heart kept pounding hard in her chest. She hurried into her room and paced around. “What could be the problem?” “Did Sarah discover the recor
Sarah’s POV:“The target is out of the mansion."I sat on the bed after having dinner. I was sipping non-alcoholic wine. I let out a satisfied sigh and sat on my bed. I knew the black wolf was already on the lookout for Marina. She had been acting nervous since she discovered that I found out about the recorder. She is going to find out about it tomorrow. She won't live to testify. Just when I was lost in thought, my phone buzzed. “We found her,” it read.It was a message from a black wolf. I met out with a sly and calculating smile. “Good work. See you tomorrow,” I texted back and dropped my phone on the bedside.I turned off the light and went straight to sleep, feeling satisfied and happy that everything was working in my favour. With time, I will get Nicklaus to love me, and he would not be able to do without me.****The next morning, I woke up feeling happy and a little tired. I had been feeling nauseous lately and gained some weight. The symptoms of pregnancy were beginni
Elena’s POV:I woke up very early in the morning because of my constant nightmares. My mind still replayed the nightmares in my head. For two days now I have been contemplating whether to open up and tell Nicklaus about my pregnancy since he is the father of my baby. He abandoned me without thinking twice about it. He signed the divorce papers and forced me to sign them.I lay on the bed and tossed around. I lay on my back and stared at the ceiling. I thought about the whole thing. I wanted to keep this pregnancy a secret because I did not want anything to hinder my plans. I had been planning to go far away and start my life. To have a fresh start. Away from everybody, but I didn't even know where to start, but the idea of going away and starting over again had been my dream.I was happy last night because the waiter released a statement at the court and claimed that the allegations against me that caused my miscarriage were false. This made me a little proud of myself. At least I g
Elena’s POV:My heart skipped a beat, and my legs became very heavy. “No,” I muttered silently to myself. My mind struggled to process what I had just seen. It felt unbelievable. My breathing increased rapidly, and I could feel my breath cease. Irina caught up with me and stopped in her tracks when she noticed that I had seen it all. She had a long face on, and I could also see tears gathering in her eyes. “Maam,” she called out; her voice was low and filled with worry. I turned around to see a worried look on her face. But I couldn't speak, I couldn't think, and I couldn't respond. All I could think of was turning around and running out of the premises. I didn't stop in my tracks until I was out of the gate. I gasped for air, and my chest was rising and falling. My vision was blurry, and tears filled my eyes. I didn't even know what to do. I stood by the road, stretching my hands to stop a taxi. I didn't know where to go; all I knew was that to get out of the house, out of Nickla
Sarah’s POV: I walked down the aisle in my beautiful white wedding dress. The stunning lace and crystals glittered in the light. My father held my arms beside him; he was filled with pride as he escorted me to my future husband. I couldn't stop smiling. I was grinning ear to ear, and all eyes were on me. I enjoyed the excitement and joy of the moment. It made me feel like a princess in a fairy tale and the centre of attraction. I love that I was the center of attraction and all eyes were on me and Nicklaus. Everybody admired me as I walked to the alter. The guest stood on their feet. I could see the admiration on their faces. I became the spotlight and had my dream wedding, which made me the talk of the town. Nicklaus was already standing at the altar waiting for me. His charming smile made me fall hard for him. He was dressed in a black suit, which suited him perfectly, and his hair was styled, every strand in place. He looked like a model about to walk down the runway for Vogue
Nicklaus’s POV:I walked into my room after the wedding dinner, finally able to remove the fake smile on my face. I had been forcing myself to smile all day for my family and friends, but my face fell back to normal when I walked into the room and closed the door. My cheeks were hurting so much from smiling. It is now real. I am now Sarah’s husband.I let out a deep sigh and sat on the couch. I exhaled deeply, with my hand running through my face. I could not believe that Elena was truly out of my life for good and Sarah was now my wife. It feels surreal, like a dream that I had begged myself to wake up from. I thought about how my life changed in the space of just six months. Everything happened so fast. I got married to two women in six months. Not only two different women but two sisters. This is so bad. All because I need an heir just to take over from my father’s companies.I thought about Elena. I thought I loved her enough to stand by her, but I failed her. Now all I have le
Elena’s POV:It’s been a week since Nicklaus' wedding with my sister, and I have not been myself since then. I thought I had gotten over him and that I would easily move on and forget the pain, but I was mistaken. I hadn't left the house all week; I had not touched my phone; I had not spoken to anyone, not even Alex or Zoey. I was unable to face the outside world. I just wanted to be left alone and have some time to think things through. But this morning, I woke up very early in the morning, and I felt happy that I could get enough sleep all night long, and it gave me a little bit of relief.I looked around and decided to do something different, to take control of my life again. I rolled out of bed and walked to my closet. I arranged my clothes, folding and packing them in my box, and signed deeply, trying to let go of the past and start living again. Just then, there was a knock on the door, and it was swung open. Alex was standing in the doorway and walked inside the room. “Elen
Elena’s POV:I arrived in Oregon together with Zoey; we stepped out of the car onto the street. I looked around the unfamiliar surroundings before entering her apartment. I felt a little bit of relief that I had left Los Angeles, along with the painful memories and toxic relationship that was holding me back. I am here to start over again. It wasn't an easy decision to make, but I was willing to stand up and fight for myself this time around. Zoey noticed my mood as we walked into the house. “Elena, are you okay?” She asked, raising her eyebrows and giving me a questioning look.I looked at her and smiled nervously, “Yes, I am fine.” I spoke, trying to brush it off, but Zoey knew me too well. I could tell she didn't believe me.She walked up to me and said, “I know it is not easy for you because you are starting life from the start, but I want you to know that your happiness lies with this decision and you will find your strength again. Zoey reached for my hand and squeezed it gent
